This is such a great local breakfast spot in Livingston. The food and service are always great and fast! The waffles are the best the I have come across in MT and the sausage is also delicious.

I appreciate the consistent hours and experience. It’s always the same and it’s always delicious.

Pinky’s and Jam! are my two favorite breakfast spots in the area and as of late I have given the edge to Pinky’s.

If you’re a local in the area, live in Bozeman, or are just passing through, this little spot on Main is worth the detour.

I had the classic Benedict. The hollandaise was far too lemony for my taste, it was almost sour tasting. But otherwise was delicious and clearly home made. The potatoes were excellent. I would absolutely go there again next time I’m passing through

I am a huge basket and gravy fan but was disappointed. The poached eggs I got with it were done just right. The side of hollandaise sauce seemed to be made with the microwave method. Not the best but better than nothing.

Came to Pinky’s for breakfast while here on vacation in Montana. I had the chocolate chip pancakes along with some biscuits and gravy, hubby had the buttermilk pancakes. All the food was amazing and very filling! 10/10 would recommend. My only complaints are the uncomfortable hard chairs, so keep that in mind if you have sciatica issues, I also would’ve preferred pulp free orange juice. Other than that it’s a cute little hole in the wall joint with tasty breakfast and lunch options! Hope you enjoy if you come by.

Great place for breakfast, the food is always good. Nice to have some gluten free options like pancakes & toast too. That reminds me – I need to call them. That was the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had. Need to find out if they make it or what brand it was.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Livingston, Pinky’s Café is a delightful breakfast spot that blends small-town warmth with big flavor. With easy street parking and a welcoming vibe, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger over your coffee.

We started our day with the Classic Benedict, served alongside perfectly cooked potatoes. The coffee was smooth and robust, a pleasant surprise that paired beautifully with the meal.

The decor is charming and thoughtfully styled, adding to the relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Service was friendly and fast, making the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable.
Whether you’re passing through Livingston or looking for a local favorite, Pinky’s Café is a great place to kick off your day.

High quality ingredients; fresh squeezed orange juice, good potato hash browns. The ambiance is tasteful and the service was good. There was a nice woman sitting nearby who appeared to be a regular. She was wearing unfortunately strong perfume. It would be a tough conversation, but maybe someone needs to tell her that scented products can trigger migraines or asthma attacks.

We stopped by on a whim and glad we did! This is a quaint little updated restaurant. It had the best gluten free pancakes I’ve ever had! The eggs Benedict Florentine was amazing! Highly recommend!

mediocre experience, but a lot of which is my fault.

we went there after, ironically, seeing the No Reservations episode the day before while we happened to be in town. Anthony Bourdain raved about their patsy’s, and even implied that you could get shots of whiskey at the bar in the A.M. wasn’t expecting wonders (stewed beef in a pastry crust? cool! but not exactly haute cuisine.) just looking forward to a great greasy spoon.

after a few confusing moments looking over the menu we asked the waitress if pasty’s were still being served. she responded “Bourdain’s been dead for 14 years, and so has the pasty.” which, fine. technically true. but that seems like a pretty callous way to refer to someone who suffered from unbelievable depression and ended up hanging himself. I’m sorry if the question is annoying, but maybe a slight more tact, ya know? in their defense, if I had googled the menu beforehand I would’ve known better. my bad.

anyway, I ordered the eggs benedict. while I was waiting a waiter offered to refill my (rather bitter) coffee. I also asked for a glass of orange juice, as it was breakfast and that’s kind of a thing. what I didn’t realize was that a single, small glass was EIGHT DOLLARS. this wasn’t off-season. it was the middle of summer, when you can buy a whole bag of oranges for like $2, not even wholesale. when I looked at the menu to verify what I was hoping was a mistake it emphasized that it was “fresh squeezed,” which is literally just a single crank on a juicer. I’d rather spend that money buying two dozen fresh oranges. although it was, it must be said, quite good. I just wish I hadn’t shared it.

the eggs benedict were… fine. the eggs were actually poached, which I respect. although there was a fair amount of clear, runny whites, I can live with that. the hollandaise sauce tasted like basically nothing, so I ended up adding a fair amount of salt. not terrible, but I’ve made better at home using packets. some of the plates next to us, however, looked great. maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. the potato side was quite nice.

outside of the aforementioned comment, the service was good. they were all attentive and very friendly, like only old pro’s can do. the atmosphere was also good – we were sat outside, but it was well shaded and with plenty of room.

I don’t know if I can recommend this place or not. if you’re just popping through town and need a place to grab a quick brunch next to your AirB&B, it’s a great option. it’s easier to get into than other cafes in town who have far more limited seating, and the food is unoffensive. service is fast, friendly, and effective. great location, especially if you sit outside during the right season. really feels like the heart of Livingston. it’s a vibrant, fun establishment, and a great piece of local history. if that’s worth $20/plate (note I tip 20-25%) is up to you. and considering the sheer low capacity of the other places in town, there are worse places to fall back to.

their coffee could seriously use some work, though. blech.
