We had such a great experience at 101 Crab! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of.
The food truly speaks for itself. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor — especially the seafood boil. The seasoning was bold, savory, and coated every bite perfectly. We also loved that the fried items were made to order — you can absolutely taste the difference when food comes out hot and freshly prepared.
Beyond the food, the service really stood out. A special shout-out to Kaylee, the General Manager, for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience. The team was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit.
The nautical-inspired interior adds to the charm — it’s a cozy yet lively space that’s perfect for date night, family dinners, or a fun night out with friends.
If you’re in Santa Maria and craving quality seafood with great service to match, 101 Crab is definitely worth visiting. We’ll absolutely be back!

The food is fresh and good, I just hope there is more depth on the flavor. Price is reasonable, and I hope they have more crab selections, their restaurant is called Crab 101.
Service is slow, and the server is not attentive considering the place is not busy when we were there, and I noticed 2 servers and a host. The server never checked on us, we still have to ask for our shell crackers, and the plastic picks.
Place is clean, a good amount of parking space.

Just another foodie
Food was good. We got the captains catch with the 101 special sauce, mild. It could use more sauce and some more garlic bits but overall it was good for the price. Definitely one of the cheaper seafood boils I’ve ever had and it was worth the price in my opinion. Would come again

Took my family, my dad, and my father in law here for New Years. We had a wonderful time! Food was great, staff were helpful, and the manager is amazing. Will definitely be back! Get on the wait list asap if you are interested in going, as they are VERY busy!!!

Ordered the seafood combo, garlic butter only non spicy since my daughter is barely getting used to sauces and spices, I ordered a cup of extra seasoning on the side for my own dipping of 101 special hot. It was great. My daughter and I almost finished the whole thing. She was knocking out one clam, mussel after the other. She loved it. Great order for trying out a little bit of everything. Had about 3 clusters of crab legs, the picture doesn’t do it justice. Im pretty sure the serving size is for about 4 people but it was right after school and we can grub down when it’s really good food. We also ordered a plate of green snails they had their own sauce on them. It was bomb. Great food. Restaurant was clean. Fried cheese steaks are fire they have a different type of breading which I loved because you don’t that full bloated feeling after eating them. They were full of cheese and definitely give you a cheese pull that kids are looking for. Definitely a must try. We will definitely be back. If your kids aren’t seafood fans they have chicken tender baskets and white fish baskets. We also tried the sweet potato fries. Super good. They’re waffle fries and full of flavor of the sweet potato.

We ordered the wing basket shown here on their menu. In the picture, they are breaded. They brought naked wings. The manager didn’t have the courage “didn’t understand what was wrong” (according to our waitress) but also didn’t have the courage to come talk to us. The manager just told the waitress to “order them again.” The waitress tell us that the first wings would be comped since that’s not what we ordered. She said for us to just keep them since they were already on the table. The second order came out exactly the same. I just sent back the second one and just allowed them to charge me for the first one. It wasn’t what we ordered but we still ate them so it is what it is. Otherwise, the boil was good.
