My wife loved the tamales, so when we heard they were opening a restaurant, we were hyped, a bit disappointed in the order and pay first, mainly because the asking for tip prior to service. Hopefully the owner sees this and takes it as a positive way to improvr, I know theybjust opened, and this the reason im giving 5 stars, but commenting my opinion

Dont ask for tip upfront prior to service, or put a person to take orders at the table, I guarantee you, you will get more tips this way.

Food was a bit cold

Very small portion in the chilaquiles

Horchata was very blaahhhh. Believe it or not, a lot of people will go or not go because of the taste of the flavored waters.

Put more napkins in tables

I was working in the area, kind of out of my usual zone, maybe about three miles off and started looking for a solid breakfast spot. This place popped up with great reviews. It wasn’t quite what i was feeling and It’s a little out in the cut, not exactly what you’d call an inviting area at first glance, but not sketchy either. I figured, what the hell, let’s give it a shot.
Turns out, the plaza itself is actually pretty decent. The entrance was a little confusing at first, it’s on the north side of the plaza but once we found it, everything clicked. Walked in, got greeted right away. The place is simple, nothing fancy, small menu, focused. I didn’t notice any beer or liquor, but honestly, that didn’t matter.
My buddy and I both went with the queso birria, plus a Mexican Coke. And man… plenty of food. We asked for all the fixings onions, cilantro, chiles toreados, pickled onions, grilled onions the whole deal. Everything hit.
This is easily a top-five queso birria spot for me. I won’t oversell it because there are still places I haven’t had the chance to try yet, but this one absolutely earns its place. The spot is small, the staff is welcoming, and the food came out in a very reasonable time.
If you’re craving birria and you’re on this side of the valley, this is the move. The east side has a lot of talent and a lot of choices and this place should definitely be on your list.

Some of the best tacos and salsa I’ve had, anywhere. The guy serving us I presume is the owner, and he was great. We fly into KUDD often and will be returning here. I took home one of the tacos and some salsa and reheated it the next night and it was just as good the second time.

I first had them at the barbecue festival and they were simply amazing! My brother ended up picking up another order from them at their new location and they were so amazing! We had the birria tacos and those flavors penetrating into the beef was superb!

Dropped in this morning and ordered one of their tamales to go, just to try it. The only thing I regret is not getting 3 more. They are AMAZING. Tasty, juicy, flavorful and just what a person wants to satisfy their craving for tamales. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

Loved these authentic birria tacos. The service was great, and the food was even better. I had the cheese birria tacos and had to try the birria tamale. It was really delicious. I talked to the owner, and he bought a building so they will soon have their own restaurant, I don’t know when but until then, you can find them downtown Indio every Friday night and on Indios 2nd Saturday night each month or follow them on Instagram for their locations.
