Contrary to most of the reviews here, I found the tacos to be overhyped. They were tiny, and they just didn’t taste that great. The flavor was mostly greasy, without much contrast. I expected the pineapple to shine through more, but it really didn’t. Overall, the dish felt very plain and lacked depth.

THE TACO WAS DELICIOUS!
Found this place through Joshua Weissman YouTube and was not disappointed. A bit hard to find, but just follow the map, enter the food complex, & turn left.
The chefs were so friendly & nice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The taco was so good, and even the sauce & spice pickle came with it. It’s small but for a price of $8.5/3 pieces, I think it’s very worth it.
Will come back.

Great food! Tacos are a bit small but full of flavor! Don’t forget to get the corn as well. WELL DESERVED OF THE MICHELIN STAR. 2 YEARS. BACK TO BACK!
Food truck located inside a food truck park. Plenty of free parking. Plenty of sitting spots.

Great outdoor sports bar feel with plenty of seating. The tacos are small, so if you have a big appetite or are looking to share, go with the 8 piece. They only sell one type of taco (pork & beef blend) but it is delicious. Definitely will give them another go!

Had to add this stop while I was visiting because a friend told me they were her favorite tacos in Austin! They were delicious and had their Michelin sign hung up! We had 8 tacos with the elotes and it was delicious!

These are some of the best tacos I have ever had. The meat is slow cooked for a really long time and it is juicy and incredibly flavorful. The tortillas are lightly fried and complete the perfect taco. I only wish I would have gotten twice as many! Small complaint, the truck is now in a little food court area that is 21+ on weekends. It made it a little challenging to go with kids. My wife had to run in and grab them to go. If you have kids, definitely go on a weekday.

Michelin Star tacos you say? I’m sold!
As another google reviewer previously mentioned, this taco truck was featured on JOLLY’s YouTube channel.
The truck has it’s own location surrounded by a good amount of seating where guests can converse and watch a movie on one of their dozen or so screens. A great vibe for the family (21 or older).
We ordered the 8 tacos and a side of their elote. The tacos are ridiculously small, but packed with plenty of flavor with no sauce needed, but if you do need sauce, then I reccomend their green!
The elote was good, and two people can split.
I am satisfied with our experience and I do reccomend giving them a try. Also, the prices are actually not bad.

Went in with high expectations of a mexican street taco, especially with a Michelin star. Walked out slightly disappointed…..first off it was at a sports bar didn’t know that. Hard to find anywhere to sit, loud music, lots of people, I sat at a random stand that was meant for other vendors.
Menu only had one type of taco and we got 8 MINI tacos for $20 and let me say when I say MINI I MEAN MINI all 8 tacos fit on a sample brown tray. The meat was mushy, the flavor was good though and I loved the pineapple addition on top just like an al pastor taco. Was it worth $20? no. Would I go back? probably not

Found out about this place from the amazing YouTube channel JOLLY. So glad we took the time on our trip to make our way down! THE BEST tacos I’ve ever had. Staff is friendly and sweet! The elote is phenomenal the crunch on the corn was so good and let me know it was beyond fresh! Definitely excited for the next time we come to the area to have them again!

Discada is a food destination you must make. The tacos were intensely delicious and layered with flavors. Both the green and pink salsas added depth to the tacos in their own ways without simply being heat. The elote was a phenomenally flavored side. Counter service was personable and friendly and seating available and varied in the open area.
Discada exceeded all expectations and will be a lasting food memory of Austin. Don’t hesitate to go!
