Very cute place. Very inviting atmosphere. The shop itself was well organized. The woman explained most of her olives were from Italy. We decided to purchase some cheese stuffed olives that looked very good. We got them home and I’m always curious as to where things are made and come from. I was very disappointed to see the “Twice As Nice Guarantee” from Aldi label on the jar. Paid over $7 dollars for a jar of olives you can find at Aldi for $2.99… how do I know? I marched right over to Aldi and found the exact same olives, same jar, same label. What a huge disappointment and waste of money. I understand a business has to make money, but come on, we were definitely hustled. Some of the bakery was dried out. They claim they make their bakery fresh every morning however, they just heated it up in the microwave and sprinkled some frosting and stuff over the top to call it new. Gordon Ramsay would be so impressed. He definitely does not believe in microwaves. Being in the restaurant business myself, it dries a lot of things out and kills flavor. I used to work in a bakery and I definitely know the difference between fresh versus old and expired food. It is not dry, hard and crunchy. The hot chocolate was good, but very generic and it was “Swiss Miss” brand. If you feel like getting cheated, this is your place. Dishonesty at its finest.

The store itself is so quaint, cute, rustic cottage atmosphere. But as much as I wanted to love my purchase of, white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, and oatmeal raisin cookies, I couldn’t. 1st bite in and I broke a tooth. I had hoped they would be soft, chewy and delicious. Love to shop local, but it’s not what I had hoped for in a bakery.

I ordered a custom-flavored cake for my daughter’s birthday and it exceeded all of my expectations. They were accommodating and easy to work with, the price was a lot less than what I had been expecting, and the cake itself was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

What an amazing place I found today. The owner is a beautiful woman who cares about what she does and the food is amazing! It’s the only place I found in Last 5 Years that I could get a spinach and better croissant. It was delicious! Wish I had bought a loaf of the sourdough.

My husband and I were meandering through this part of the state and stopped in for a latte, which was very good. In talking to the owner we found out she had just taken some english muffin white bread out of the oven. We purchased a loaf and couldn’t even wait until dinner to tear into it. So delicious! We told the owner we were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and she GAVE us a delicious Nutella pretzel cake for the occasion. That act of kindness made our trip.

Purchased cookies for a thank you to a group. Thankfully, we tasted one before presenting them…VERY HARD and Tasteless. Maybe we hit them on a bad day, Not impressed with baked goods sitting on a wooden plank, at least use a paper doily as a barrier.

Our hometown bakery in a place where a good bakery is really needed. We buy bread,
( especially the sourdough) sweets, locally roasted coffees and good canned and packaged goods like jams & jellies, chips, Wisconsin cheeses and more from Kathleen. Good lunches and a coffee bar. We dine in and take out.
