Restaurant renamed, ownership changed possibly after months of being closed, but the food is just as good if not better! The menu is expanded – many more items I need to try now! Service was good quality, quick and friendly.
Chicken with rice – pounded breast – tender, flavorfully marinated, and great quality. Pork & beef with vermicelli noodles – deliciously marinated. Egg rolls – delicious. Shrimp on skewers – some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had – deliciously marinated and coated with sauce, moist and tender. Fish sauce & delicious side salad included with plates. Decent sized dining room, some dine-in, many carry out.

I’ve had pho/banh mi all over south sac and Seattle but this is still hands down the best pho and banh mi I’ve ever had.
The bread on the banh mi is always warm and soft. Slight crunch on the crust. Meat always juicy and the pickle carrots/daikon super delicious. The banh mi comes with bit of mayo and patte which should be standard but you’d be surprised how many places don’t include that.
The broth is always rich with flavor and they have a good portion balance.
Owners are super nice and attentive, and the vibe of the shop is calm and cozy. Hands down one of the best restaurants in Amador, we’re truly lucky to have them.

This has to be one of the best Pho places I have ever eaten I can’t even begin to explain how good the egg rolls are. We ended up getting the order to take home but ate them while we were still there.
I just can’t recommend this place enough It is so so very good. I thought about the review after I started eating and I took a picture after I started eating but I got the shrimp noodles/soup all the soup start with C And my husband got the house special C which was all beef and it was excellent.
But here’s the picture that I took after I started eating and I can kick myself for not having photos of everything for you folks.

We ordered the signature pho and the pork chop with rice. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The beef in the pho was quite tough and difficult to chew, and the pork chop had an artificial, processed taste. Given the relatively high prices, the quality did not meet expectations.

Best Pho I have had in a long time and I didn’t need to add anything the flavor was delicious. I had the vermicelli bowl with lemon grass chicken!! Just the right amount of spice too!

We were so surprised when we drove into the Safeway parking lot and saw they were open. So we went for lunch and it was so good! 2 pho meatball, 1 pho mixed, and 1 order of fresh rolls with shrimp. My kids wanted to take their leftovers home!

Super friendly family making high quality food. I haven’t tried the Pho yet but I love Vietnamese sandwiches and I’ve gotten the regular Pork Bahn Mi and the platter that comes with baguette and steak etc. If you haven’t tried Vietnamese food give this a try and support a hardworking family instead of one of the garbage chains in the area.

The food was good and the place was very clean. I got the pho beef and brisket which was very good. The service was great and they were always walking around to check if you needed anything. They have a wide selection so I’ll be back to try a few more things. Portion for the large pho was huge for the price.

I love this place. It is a hidden gem in Amador County. There aren’t many places you can go here to get a healthy lunch or dinner. But this place has everything you need and the ingredients are so fresh.
