I don’t understand the negative reviews. I live in The Pleasantdale section of WO and for 40 years I’ve tried every Chinese restaurant between WO and Verona.
Over the previous years all of my “go to” places have been stinking it up. Small portions, less flavor and egg rolls have become a joke.
Peking House has nailed it. Egg rolls are old school large, steamed dumplings are fantastic, general Tao chicken, egg foo young, and house special Lo mein packed with flavor and large portions.
Great food I’ll definitely order from here again.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! My food was tasty and fresh, needed more sauce but I’ll ask for extra next time. The place is clean and bright, service is friendly, you can tell they take pride in their business. I’ll back!

My husband and I order from here all the time for the past few years. We always tip the delivery driver well. Our last order they forgot our drinks when we brought it up to the driver he apologized and asked if he can bring it next time we order no charge. We said yes because we see him often and knew it wouldn’t be long before we ordered again. Our next order when we called we explained it to the young lady who answered the phone. She was very rude and said she can’t do it because it’s against protocol. We apologized and said we understand however we were charged for it last order and didn’t receive it, have been ordering for a while and we always tip well. She continued to argue with us. After that I didn’t even want to proceed with my order. Unfortunately we will no longer be ordering from them. Terrible service from the people who are on the phones.

This place isn’t worth it. I just ordered my food. It came In 5 mins. I was Leary about if it’s cooked. Then the delivery guy called my phone 3 times and then rushed me to tell me he has other customers. I have tasted better chinese food before. Last time ordering here. Then he took his tip without giving me a chance to say yes or no. Customers service sucks with them. If you want something enjoyable spend your money else where. The driver is rude as hell. I so wanted to not come down for my food and let him have to deal with it. After eating they’re food it gave me the runs.

They don’t take credit cards. Closed on Sunday. The food is very mediocre, chicken and broccoli was very bland and under sauced. And they close early. Why even go here?

if i could rate them negative stars i would. I usually order from this location and have always paid the $10 minimum for delivery, it’s been years. However, all of a sudden the person on the phone decided she is not completing my order because it is not $10 unless i decide to additionally tip the driver. She hung up on me 3 times even after deciding to get the food, she screams at me a last time before hanging up again and says “well you’re not getting no food tonight” and proceeds to calling me disgusting name before hanging up… terrible customer service and will NEVER buy there again!

THEY OVERCHARGE!!!
They know people don’t do the math and they puncheon numbers on the register that does not add up to state tax or price on menu all the time.
I ordered the same thing three times in a row and paid 3 different prices.
Though The differences were no MORE than $2.25
But at that point it’s the principle bad business stealing and adds up.
New Jersey has a 6.625 percent state sales tax rate.
And if you’re ever short whatever price for the food they always have a Nisha depending on who’s working depending on who you are.
