We celebrated some overdue good news with pizza out at The Toad House. The Winner Circle with one substitution, and the Garden Salad reminded us of just how good pizza can be. Beer and cider, rock music and big classic photos revived our memories of always leaving and feeling glad we came. When so many other spots are disappointing, Toad House deserves your patronage.

We went after my daughter’s basketball game around 745pm on a Friday. They had plenty of room for all 6 of us. We got the kids the Tadpole pizzas so they could make their own. We shared the Tezzio and The Standard.

We ordered a pizza from Toadhouse…1/2 cheese and 1/2 Canadian Bacon and Pineapple. We arrived promptly at the pickup time assigned to us. We waited 3 minutes while a customer ahead of us was being given their pizza.
We arrived home to a huge disappointment. The crust was doughy, overly chewy, and almost as if it had been steamed…perhaps from sitting around for a long time?
Simply put, it was the worst pizza we have ever had in Kitsap County. As lifetime residents, that is saying a lot.
We had ordered from Toadhouse based upon the “Best of…” reviews. Perhaps it was a bad night tonight? Or perhaps these votes and reviews were written by associates?
The pizza wasn’t even mediocre: it was terrible.
When I called Toadhouse, the staff was uninterested in feedback. Adding insult to injury, there was no attempt to “make it right”.
If they normally prepare a consistent product, they would have asked that we bring the pizza back and they’d prepare another one up to their normal high standard, right?
So, for those of you who thought you might try something different, don’t bother. We had high hopes. Our pizza was poor quality. The customer service was poor quality: apathetic.
You can do better at any other pizza establishment…from Spiro’s, to Fairgrounds Pizza, Seabeck Pizza…even Domino’s!

Really interesting selection of pizzas with non-standard toppings and a pretty decent beer selection. Strip mall atmosphere isn’t much, but the food makes it worthwhile. Friendly staff, too.

You enter into a rustic feeling dim room with the low sounds of classic rock over the speakers. You are greated by a nice lady and sit down and get offered any of the 12 beers on tap and go for the new voodoo ranger. The pint and a glass of water show up and you order the fire dragon pizza. About 10-15 minutes later you are presented with a beautiful artisan pizza with one of the most amazing cheese pulls of your life.
Excellent pizza and great prices. 12in pizza and a pint was about 20 buck. I personally love the atmosphere as everything is good for tired eyes and the music is great as well. Loved this place the first time I came 5 years ago, still love it now.

We’ve eaten here many times and we absolutely love their pizza and cheese bread plus. They have a very relaxing atmosphere and play great music in the background. The biggest complaint was that it took some time for them to get the pizzas done as their brick oven wasn’t big enough to handle the volume of orders. They had a sign saying they are adding a new oven so the pizzas should be coming out much faster. If you love pizza, don’t miss out on this place. They have the best pizza in the county.

Second review: Went here tonight…pretty busy! Not a lot of staff, but had the most incredible pizza…my favorite so far called” Winning Combo”, most definitely the thoroughbred of pizza’s. The crust was thicker, lighter and crispier than usual. Even though the service was slower tonight, it was worth the wait. They have an excellent Marianne Berry cider on tap. I was a happy partron……

This place needs a major upgrade. As soon as we walked in. There was no energy. It was so quiet and dark. It was so quiet. Customers had to whisper to eachother. And you can still hear them. No music. No TV. No energy. We almost walked out. But, I decided just to give it try. The pizza was good. It has potential. The ingredients and sauce was on point. The dough was chewy, and the cheese was stringy. It was hard to eat this pizza. There was only us and another table. And the pizza took over 40 mins.

The Toad house is a nice warm Brick House pizza oven place with a wide variety of selection of ingredients. They a wide variety of micro brewery and a very kind and attentive staff. The food was well prepared and hot and timely. The prices were reasonable and the place was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for a nice quiet date.

For such a teeny restaurant they were hugely accommodating to our family. We went here for dinner spur of the moment with about ten people and they happily set us up without even a wait. The staff were very friendly and not bothered at all by the group and splitting the check several different ways. The pizza was amazing. They even changed one of their specialty pizzas for how I wanted it. If I lived closer, I would definitely return here regularly. Also loved the local beer options and variety. Lastly, I just wanted to mention that no one ever rushed us to finish our meal despite the fact that we were taking up a huge amount of the center of their dining space.
