Step back in time at White Trolley Cafe! Super cute little diner with good old fashion food and service. We had their slug burgers are delicious and only $1.75 and their seasoned fries that were fried just right to perfection.

“Hole in the walls” are among some of my favorite dining establishments. I was drawn here by the outward appeal and by the reviews of locals. I was seated immediately and was captivated by all the excitement. I had to ask what a “slug burger” was and got a very in depth answer. So, I had to order a couple. One with cheese and one without. They are greasy and cheap. It’s definitely a unique experience, and I recommend everyone to try it at least once in their life. The onion rings I ordered came out hot, crispy and fresh. I had to take a phone call, and walked outside for a bit. I came back in and to my surprise, I had two brand new slug burgers waiting on me. I was delighted to partake in multitudes of conversations while at the bar seat. I had locals recommend other local dining establishments within the city. Each and every patron or employee was friendly.

This was definitely an experience.. the food was good and came out fast!! Very nice and helpful staff here. Loved it❤️. I had a fish sandwich and some onion rings but the slug burger is obviously the favorite. The prices were amazingly low for a restaurant. Would definitely go back

My daughter and I went on a Friday about 6. Our burgers and spicy fries were delicious as usual. Service was great and we didn’t wait long on our food. I love the building and decor ! Prices are reasonable but don’t forget to bring cash .

If a restaurant sells cereal burgers (slug burgers) I’m gonna eat there! This is a nondescript little diner which seems to cater mostly to locals. I visited during the lunch rush and the place was quite busy. My order arrived fairly quickly. While not the worst slug burger I’ve ever had, it certainly wasn’t the best either. The patty was hard, cooked a little too long. The fries were not much better. A mediocre experience at best.

My wife and I ate there for the first time. It was good. The food, service, and environment were good. I only have two complaints. The candy machine took our quarter without giving us candy. When we went to check out I asked if they did military discounts. They don’t, which is perfectly fine. I still eat at places that don’t. My problem was the reaction I was given for even asking. The lady shook her head and said “No no, we don’t do any discounts.” Like I said, that’s fine but she was very rude about it.

This is the kind of place you dream of when you think of that special diner where you can go and always feel at home. The folks working there were friendly and made me feel welcome. Breakfast was just what I would make at home and that’s the beauty of this place, it feels like home and they make you feel at home.

I try to go by the white trolley whenever I’m down for some good old fashioned slug burgers, a Great Depression era burger only found in Northeast Mississippi. The place is a Corinth staple, and they’re so popular around lunch that you might not even be able to get in the door. Parking is especially limited due to how popular they are during busy hours. Slug burgers cost a bit more than a slug nowadays but they’re still cheaper than a sandwich at any other restaurant.
