This is the perfect sushi restaurant! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the owner chatted with us about the restaurant. The waitstaff was quick, answered all of our questions, and gave us great recommendations.
The gyoza was had the perfect amount of crisp and flavor. I would absolutely order this again on my next visit. The sushi rolls themselves are extremely filling. The portions are large, so be prepared to get a box.
This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The Crazy Rock and Roll has fried cream cheese, but still manages to feel light and filling. The Black Widow roll was stuffed with soft shell crab that had the right amount of crunch. The fruit was fresh and added a delightful variation to the rest of the roll. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy, hole in the wall style Japanese restaurant.

First time here and we will definitely be back. The food was great and so was the service. The chef was happy to share recommendations and make changes for us. We had the black widow roll (with shrimp), spicy tuna rolls and a custom roll. The fact two friends recommended this place solidified us coming and I just wish I had been here sooner!

Very kind and attentive staff. We felt right at home when we walked in. The food was delicious and the portions were very large. I ordered two rolls when one would have filled me up, but they were both delicious! Will definitely go back.

Really wonderful little hidden gem with a caring, devoted staff. The large pieces of yellowtail tuna and salmon were SO fresh and melted in my mouth. Lee, the owner, is amazing and asks you what you like/dislike so he can personally customize your order to your tastes. Chefs kiss!

This place is by far the best sushi place I have found in VA Beach. I frequent VA Beach often with work and have tried several sushi spots around and none compare to the quality of food, the freshness and how Mr. Lee interacts with each one of his customer’s to learn their taste preference. Simply non comparable to other places around. He makes you feel welcomed as if you are at home. 10 out of 10 recommend this place as your go to sushi spot in VA Beach. See ya in 2 months Mr. Lee!

Very cozy restaurant, very unassuming from the outside. There were lots of patrons a great sign that this must be the local favorite spot. The servers and staff were very friendly. There was a gentleman talking to customers who seemingly was the manager or owner, sharing the concept behind what they ordered. Food was delicious. I ordered the roll with fried soft shell crab but asked that the fruits be on the side; it came to my table looking delectable and tasting quadruply so. Will definitely come back to try everything. Highly recommended
