I decided to visit Cabos Mexican Restaurant a couple of days ago. I noticed that they were participants in the Ascension Parish Tourism Sweet Spot Cocktail Trail and wanted to give them a try.
The service was a little slow, but I assume it was because the server was working the bar and dining area. Nonetheless, she was friendly and courteous. I ordered the featured Sweet Spot drink, and it was tasty. I also placed an order to go. It was the Taco Salad with a side of Refried Beans. It was especially good with the added beans and salsa.

Went during off hours around 3, nice and quiet how we like it around that time but service was still friendly and attentive! Wife got enchiladas, I got the combo fajitas. Everything was very tasty, fresh, and flavorful, my shrimp were not overcooked (as can happen with fajitas) and I could cut my steak with my fork! Salsa is not spicy but has a lovely roasted flavor to it. Our drinks were refilled promptly without asking. We finished with some lovely sopapillas, and the bill was very reasonable! Overall an unexpectedly great experience found way out here of all places!

Drinks at happy hour were not half price. We ordered 2nd rounds of drinks 10 minutes before happy hour ended and was charged full price. We ordered cheese dip. When cheese dip arrived they did not bring chips to eat with it. Food was good. Not enough employees and some could not understand English well.
