Asahi was sooooo good! As soon as you walked in the aroma of sesame oil fills the room! That’s not a bad thing. The service was quick and the portions super filling. We were very pleased as it was our first time having authentic Korean food and we are ready to go back!

I very rarely will rate a place 5 stars, but just the service here alone is worth it. I mean just exceptional service, so nice and accommodating. So rare these days. Set in a quiet little strip, with a simple menu. We ordered the hot stone bibimbap and fried dumplings. It came out with a few bonchon. At the end of the meal they gave us some hot barley tea and my favorite strawberry candy. Was visiting from out of state for Thanksgiving and they made us feel like home away from home. 10/10 recommend! I wish I had a picture of the food but regardless just know it was really good.

The most heartwarming and delicious Korean dining experience for us in the 17 years of our lives across 30+ states in the US. Kimberly is bright , caring and very efficient and it feels like home in her place. Her mom is the cook and a very skilled one at that It was a dinner to cherish and we will definitely go back

HIGHLY recommend going here – let me just start by saying it is just a mom and her daughter running the place (Kimberly I believe). So any reviews giving 1 star saying it was closed or something, it’s an unfair review as life does happen and it’s hard with just two people. And again with calling in advance, they may not answer because it’s a two man show, so show them some grace and they will shower you with 10x more.

Next, the food was phenomenal, photos I attached is of the hot stone bowl, and it did not disappoint. Was celebrating my birthday with some friends (cupcakes in the photo not included at the restaurant haha), and they were very kind and was so sweet. Highly recommend and will continue going here to help support small!

My husband and I stumbled upon this hidden gem today and I am so thankful we did. Kimberly and her mom are a dynamic duo. The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. Kimberly is nothing short of phenomenal. She is attentive and extremely sweet. Just today’s experience alone is enough to make us regulars moving forward. Thank you guys!!

I got the shredded beef soup and my mom got the chicken bulgogi, both were amazing and tasty. Also, we were given lots of side dishes including kimchi and radish among others and barley tea for my mom and sprite for me to cool off after the soup. the service was great and the waitress was very friendly and helped keep a great mood for every table. the decor was beautiful and the tables and chairs were also very clean. the portion sizes for the main dishes are large and definitely worth the money. I am for sure going back, and definitely trying the test of the soup dishes they offer. the fried pork dumplings are also a must try, crispy and fragrant.

This was our second time coming here and the first time we came the experience was amazing, but this time blew us away even more than we could have thought. The service is so so amazing and the waitress is such a lovely lady. She will tend to all of your needs no matter what and even go above and beyond. We were continuously checked on and when we finished our meal, we were greeted with ice pops, candy, sodas and tea to go—without asking. She even gave us a tub of pretzels to go when we asked for only a little bit to eat inside. However, the only downside I will say is we were charged 10 dollars for a side of lettuce with our pork belly and 4 dollars for a tiny side of sauce. If we had known, which we did not since we were not informed before the check came, we would not have ordered it. Nonetheless, it was a good experience once again.

This was my first time trying Korean, and it was so good!! The restaurant is located toward the end of a small strip mall and has a really cozy, inviting ambiance inside. As I waited for my takeout, I watched the restaurant quickly fill up. I was offered a pretzel snack and tea. The spouse and I ordered the beef bulgogi and chicken bulgogi. Portion sizes were generous and very tasty. We also loved the little sides that came with the meal. We’ll definitely be back and will eat inside. I observed the lady running the front of house as she took everyone’s orders and served the food. She radiated joy and was incredibly kind.
