This was my go to la villa especially for taco Tuesdays however my last few visits have made me super disappointed. I normally pick up a lot of tacos for family and always ask for no sauce that way everyone can enjoy it how they want, but the last three times they’re all covered in red sauce and seems like extra even..

Today I went and ordered chips and salsa with my order as a nice little treat and soon as I sit it on my table to unbag I realize there is no salsa.. but they did throw in my chips atleast…

Sadly it wasnt even busy I was the second car in drive thru and seemed like a shift change just happened cause they were counting all the change at the register before getting to my order.

I previously would have rated this location at least the four stars, but a five for the customer service that I have always received in the past. In the past, anytime a mistake was made, they at least offered me a free drink for the fact that I had to waste my gas to come back and fix their mistake. I feel like that’s the least they could do if they’re going to take the order back that they messed up on to give me my new order. The ladies I’ve previously worked with have always been kind and in most cases they would want proof that the food was messed up but would compensate my time and the mess up with something extra. Tonight I had the worst experience with them that I’ve ever had. It was a simple mess up, they labeled the wrong burrito. That wouldn’t be a big deal but I bit into what was meant to be my grandma’s burrito while I had 103 degree fever, which meant of course it could not go to my grandmother anymore. I called the location and told them what had happened and they said that they would remake both burritos for me as I requested that mine also be remade so that I didn’t have to eat a cold burrito. When I got to the window I had both burritos in tow but I asked could at least the burrito that wasn’t bitten into or touched go to the homeless instead of going into the trash. They then informed me that they only had one burrito remade for me, the one that I had bitten into and that nothing was wrong with the other one, so they would not replace it. Mind you at this point the burrito was already ice cold and I’m sorry but I don’t want to pay $15 for something that’s ice cold, especially when I’ve had 103° fever for the last week and I’ve only had soup for the last 4 or 5 days and this was supposed to be my comfort meal as I finally feel like I can eat something solid. I explained the situation to the women out the window and they showed absolutely no humanity in the situation and still refused to give me a hot burrito. Upon getting home I found that they did remake my grandmother’s burrito but lo and behold they made it wrong. It was supposed to have no onions and it did have onions. So instead of going back and subjecting myself to people talking down to me over burritos, I’m just going to call the owner directly tomorrow. Maybe I can get a refund for the situation as it was incredibly rude and time consuming for me who had to use my gas and at least an extra 40 minutes of my night for a mess up that they made.
Edit: I called the next day and spoke to the owner. He apologized and said he agrees both burritos should have been remade and addressed some other sanitation concerns I had. He gave me a partial refund for the order which is better than no refund and all I can hope is if there are any mistakes in the future I will not be treated so badly again. I will say that this location does mess up quite often and I usually try to rip the bag open and check things before leaving, but it’s a little harder with wrapped items like a burrito. Always check your order here if possible to avoid having to come back and have food thrown away.

The only decent place to eat in oildale. Tacos are consistently good but I never order anything else here but rice and beans. I’ve been coming since I went to the school across the street and the carne asada tacos have always been good. It’s the one place I trust in this neighborhood to always deliver a satisfying meal.

I enjoyed my experience there. I went there to get a meal for my daughter. The kid’s meal, a quesadilla with meat, offered a choice of fries or rice and beans. My daughter doesn’t like rice, so they allowed her to get french fries with beans. The order was very inexpensive, and the food was filling for her.

The asada burrito supreme with green sauce is delicious. I have eaten different types of burritos and this one has a little bit of a unique taste of green sauce. I enjoyed it. I finished it all. I took the extra sauce home. The red sauce taste good too. The pineapple drink is good too. I appreciate the service here. Thank you.

Waited for five minutes at the counter. Was never acknowledged. They all saw me, just never bothered to take my order. Avoid at all costs.

So nasty! I found two long hairs in my food, I went to the drive through and I went back home and I see this, you can see the hairs on the food, so disgusting, There is no minimum cleanliness in this place, two long hairs tangled in the meat. I bought two birria tacos

Although the workers were very kind my food came cold. A carne asada burrito and Cali burrito is what was cold. The Cali burrito cheese wasn’t melted along with cold meat and fries. There’s plenty of marks on the walls, a very cramped bathroom, a family with children yelling and knocking over chairs and the workers did nothing about it. Don’t even get me started on the exterior. The parking lot is very cracked, overgrown and you can barely see the diving lines for parking spaces.

I looooove La Villa, but not all of the locations serve their food the exact same way. The locations on Union and East California are the best! Niles is pretty good as well. This location on North Chester, not so much. Sweet people, but the food isn’t the same.
