This restaurant has a cozy inside atmosphere. The dining area is lovely with an open concept kitchen. The food was a robust blend of flavors from smokey and fire roasted, to salty and light. I recommend the coal roasted carrots, the ricotta added a sweeter contrast to the smokey roasted flavor. The service at this establishment was quick and constant. The staff is laid back and knowledgeable.

Thank you Firehouse team for making our wedding day go perfectly! We booked out the entire restaurant for the day, so we were able to decorate and get ready starting at 11am. With our 42 guests, we held the ceremony in the patio out front, then had dinner upstairs and the dance party downstairs. The food was incredible and we heard so many compliments about it from our guests. Working with the events manager (Alec) was great with his quick responses, flexibility, suggestions, day-of coordination, and DJ-ing!!

We had been to Firehouse several years ago and decided to go back for another visit. We were not disappointed. Attentive service and great food . We had the four alarm pizza and blistered green beans. Both were awesome.

My friendive down the street from here so we stopped by for a casual dinner one night. The beets and cauliflower appetizers were very good, but carrots were a bit too salty for my liking. The pasta was also great, and the mushroom pizza looked good but I didn’t have a chance to try it! The vibes were a little weird that evening, and the restaurant was very smoky, so not sure what was going on but we still enjoyed our visit.

Friendly, fast service. Seating indoor and outdoor with tables and a bar seating area. They have a tasty selection of offerings such as pizza, pastas, salads and entree items. I started with the focaccia which was cut and toasted and served with an herbed butter. The halibut as my entree was a small portion for the price but it was cooked wonderfully, crispy and well seasoned on the outside while flaky and juicy on the inside. For dessert I ordered the lemon ricotta cake with blueberries and whipped cream, plated beautifully, the cake was decadent.

The roasted carrots are phenomenal! Well seasoned and perfect texture! The cauliflower with lemon crema is mouth watering! The carbonara was rich and decadent and the flavor profile worked so well. The dinner was light, rather than heavy!

I wanted to love this place but couldn’t. I don’t see the customer service that everyone else talked about. I don’t know if it’s a Portland thing but the waitress seemed over it. Don’t sit upstairs. It’s a boring storage locker. If you request not to sit upstairs, you’ll be chastised and reluctantly allowed to sit downstairs. Was told the other tables had reservations however so did I. Funny though, all the other table for two were not seated the entire time we were there. So the staff giving attitude really did them no good. Gave the typical 20% for no other reason than that’s me.
