Absolutely LOVE this place. The prices are a bit high like any sea food restaurant but it’s a treat that’s well worth it. They play some pretty cool music as well lol… the renditions make me laugh but they are modern r&b songs with a spin. It would be nice to see them add sweet potatoes as an option to go in the bag as my body doesn’t metabolize white potatoes properly (yes I ate it) lol check it out!

Seafood hot pot restaurant with one of the best flavors! Always enjoyed coming here, especially with Family. The flavors are always consistent and does not disappoint. Service is also VERY good. They have an alert staff that keeps up with whatever you need. Highly recommended.

First time here with family. I can honestly say, the food was not bad, but not the best. Service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and friendly. My family all ordered different things. The mussel and shrimp boil were probably the best with lemon pepper sauce as well as the Crispy chicken sandwich. Not bad, worth a try!

This is my favorite seafood place!!
I ordered 1 lb shrimp, 1/2 clam, 1/2 mussel, and 2 orders of garlic noodle.
It was enough for 2 super hungry people!!
My server Cata was the best, she was so warm and welcoming.
She is a best example for the employees! She deserves a raise
I’ll definitely go back with my family

AMAZING food! This was mine and my husband’s first time at Cap’t Loui’s and it did not disappoint. The food was so good, we had King Crab, shrimp, clams, sausage, etc, and everything was absolute perfection.
Our server was so nice too!
If we lived in Vegas, this place would be a regular dinner out

Cap’t Loui is hands down my go-to for seafood boil—and they also have the best spicy fried chicken sandwich in town. I’ve been here at least a dozen times and the food is always spot on. Consistent quality, bold flavors, and cooked to perfection every time. The service is friendly and attentive, prices are very reasonable, and the location is convenient with plenty of parking. Easily one of the best casual dining spots in the area.

As someone who loves seafood, this restaurant did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive, letting us know what the most popular items were and giving us a heads up on the price changes. I decided to go with their Seafood Boiler lunch special, which I chose the crawfish and shrimp. We ordered a side of their sausages which were very juicy and delicious. The Capt. Loui sauce was highly recommended and it was so flavorful with a perfect amount of spice. This place is definitely worth the try.

I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant every time I’m in the same plaza this business is located in, but always seem to forget its existence whenever I’m home with my family and trying to figure out what new restaurant to try. On 12 Apr 2025, I was in the mood for seafood boil and in typical fashion, I began searching for nearby places via Google. In the past, whenever I search for nearby seafood boil restaurants, it normally navigates me towards the infamous Spring Mountain Road because there’s so many options there; however, this time, Cap’t Loui popped up on the search and it quickly reminded me of how I’ve been wanting to try this place. Therefore, my wife and I hopped in the vehicle and headed to the Summerlin area.

When we arrived, I was concerned that the wait for a table would’ve been at least 30-45 minutes because it was the weekend and in the middle of the dinner window. Luckily for us, we didn’t have to wait long (~8 minutes), before being escorted to our table…which was very fortunate because I was starving. Our server, Ricardo (who also escorted us to our table), did a phenomenal job that evening…he was extremely attentive, friendly, and answered all of my questions with the utmost patience.

We ended up ordering EZ Peel Shrimp (no head), Lobster Tail, Whole Dungeness Crab, Snow Crab, Broccoli, Sausages, Boiled Egg, and Funnel Cake Fries w/Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. We requested the Cap’t Loui Sauce for our seafood boil and let me tell you…boy, that sauce was amazing! I left there still having that taste in my mouth and remembering how it tasted hours after my meal. Let’s just say that it left me wanting more even days after that visit. All the seafood was cooked to perfection but my only small complaint would be the quantity of the broccoli, potatoes, and corn. I’ve been to other seafood boils where the standard amount of corn is two, and at least 2-3 potatoes depending on the size. The broccoli was so exceptional that I wanted to keep dipping it in the sauce and eating it all night long but was limited in doing so based on the quantity provided. Oh well, in the future, I’ll order more in the beginning.

With respect to the seafood boil as a whole, I felt the prices were very reasonable. Although I mentioned the limited quantity of the broccoli, corn, and potatoes above, I still felt that the amount they served was adequate for the average person; however, I don’t consider myself average either…especially when I’m starving and at a seafood restaurant. I highly respect this business for their continued support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans – thank you for that! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! I’m thankful that I have a restaurant of this caliber within close proximity to my house versus the other seafood boil restaurants in Las Vegas. Oh and I enjoy their mouthwash dispenser in the bathroom – a very nice touch for folks out on a date that aren’t keen on maintaining that garlic taste in their mouths.

We were visiting the area and it was our first seafood boil! Great food, the signature sauce (medium level) was delicious; had a good kick. Our server Khai was also very friendly and kind. The funnel cake desert is a nice way to end a spicy meal. We had an amazing experience; We’ll definitely come back again when we’re in the area!
