We had such a fantastic experience at The Brazen Hen! The food was absolutely outstanding. The hamburgers were cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care—and the scallop salad was fresh, beautifully prepared, and completely delicious.
Ashley, our waitress, truly made the evening special. She was warm, attentive, and an absolute delight to chat with. Her menu suggestions were spot-on and she was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the options. It’s always a pleasure when someone clearly enjoys what they do and makes guests feel so welcome.
Also, compliments to the bartender—our drinks were excellent and perfectly balanced.
Between the amazing food, great service, and welcoming atmosphere, it was a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Walked in was immediately greeted. Nice warm atmosphere with a fireplace. Traditional food and great beers on draft. Amazing cocktails at competitive pricing. Good came out hot and quick and delicious. Recommend the poutine and bangers and mash! Will be coming back.

Went with my family, and we all enjoyed our meals. The location is perfect, and the inside has plenty of seats. I had the blackened chicken wrap, and it was delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us throughout our visit. We will definitely be back again.

Server was polite and friendly. Waited a little longer than expected for 2 sandwiches. Fries were good. Pastrami sandwich was too greasy for me….maybe fried the rye bread.
Unfortunately my husband’s corned beef sandwich was inedible. He couldn’t even bite through the sandwich because of the fat and how rubbery it was. I ended up sharing mine.
The server offered him another meal but he’d already had mine and we didn’t want to wait around. I will say she was gracious enough for us to not pay for his which I appreciate because not everywhere would do that.
It’s a nice place, good service but the food let it down and no refill offered on soda.

Had a late lunch with a friend here on Friday and everything was great. Huge shout out to our server, who seemed to be the only one serving all customers and she was doing an excellent job! Nice selection of menu items/drinks. We shared the Asian-inspired calamari app which was so good; we’d never had anything like it and definitely recommend. My burger with the Irish cheddar and Jameson ketchup was also good and my friend really enjoyed her salad with teriyaki steak on top. Worth the stop if you’re in the area!

My visit to The Branded Hen was so unbelievably bad that I genuinely feel obligated to warn people.
The staff was rude, inattentive, and acted like serving customers was a chore. Every interaction felt dismissive, rushed, or just plain unprofessional. The security guard at the door was hostile and confrontational, making the place feel unwelcoming before I even stepped inside.
And the entertainment? Absolutely awful. The woman running karaoke was loud, obnoxious, and made the entire atmosphere feel chaotic instead of fun. Her attitude toward guests was uninviting and honestly just added to how uncomfortable the whole night was.
Between the rude staff, the aggressive security, and the unprofessional karaoke host, this place is a complete disaster. I highly recommend no one ever waste their time or money here. There are far better places in Westerly where customers are actually treated with respect.

We found plenty of parking in the back, and we’re able to get right in, and the place was packed. The building was beautiful inside and out, and the staff was right on the ball for most of the meal. We did have to wait a little bit for our drinks to come but the food was excellent. We weren’t starving, so we didn’t try most of the heavy meals, but the bar was shocked and beautiful, a s it was worth the stop.

Food was good Reasonably Priced. Drinks were very good. The menu was a little less then I like as in apps. There is no shortage of booze though and it looked like a very nice place for a later day excursion.

Food is not fresh. Lettuce wilted and had gone by. Scallops smelled fishy maybe 1 day before they need to be thrown out. Shepherd’s pie greasy and beef was mealy. The place needs a good cleaning and booths all need to be repaired. Staff very pleasant.
