The philly cheesteak was hot cheesy n pretty Good the pull pork was not terrible
Bad: the macdaddy with greens beans mac cheese n a meat of ur choice was not prepared with love no flavor in the greens n the mac n cheese probably the worse ive ever had just watered down mac n chese flavor no real cheese. I was enjoying the cheese steak but when i used thier ketchup it was waterd down n destoryed my sandwich smh all in all i think if i come back another day i might have a better experince but today wasnt it..

I recently visited Sam’s Restaurant, and I absolutely loved it! The food was amazing — especially the hot wings, burgers, quesadillas, tacos, salads, fried fish, and chicken tenders. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The wings had the right amount of spice, the burgers were juicy, and the fried chicken was crispy and delicious. The portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. I entered Sam’s restaurant and immediately was greeted, smiled at and waved to by Bala!! He was very pleasant and informative with my questions. I ordered “freshly cookedl catfish dinner , corn nuggets and fried green beans and a bottle of water and he said it would be ready in 10-12 minutes!
They have some food already cooked in the steam table if you’re in a hurry and I was not, since I am a truck driver and just stopped next door for the night.. I also ready other reviews and saw where , if you ask, they will cooked anything fresh for you….!! it was worth the wait to have my dinner fresh! Everything was delicious and I am very pleased with my choice!! They also offer smoothies, milkshakes and scoops of Blue Bell ice cream!!

The low rating is the young girl ringing me up kept touching her nose and face with her gloves. also they put the barbeque sauce on the sandwich. your supposed to let the customer put their own sauce cause not every one wants sauce. Yes there are a hundred choices but most of the food they have out is old. so a hundred old choices so come in at lunch when it’s fresh. I did not feel safe eating here. the place was busy with locals but i mean the other options are fast food they probably are sick of. fast food.

The food is decent but they don’t give you enough for the price!! I spent $42 tonight on a 10 peice wings only and two burger combo’s and the size of the burger and portion of fries were the size of a kids meal at $10.99+tax!!! I will come back to try something different but the burger is definitely the last!! I can get more bang for my buck for that price at McDonald’s or burger king!!

I was blown away by the incredible selection of food. I was unaware this was now available in Shorter. Today I got 3 dinners, 1 pork chop, 1 fried catfish, and 1 chicken liver – all with two sides. The others really enjoyed their lunch. My chicken livers were excellent and the fried green beans were the best I’ve ever had. Hope their menu changes daily, because I’ll be a frequent customer.
