Anything but happy..
Came in with my husband on 12/8 after church just after 8pm (hours are until 10pm)
The first bowl I ordered had refrigerated cold brown rice that hurt my teeth to chew because it was so hard. So I asked them to remake it with no rice and I got a completely different entree, with plastic in it!!! There was a huge piece of plastic wrap over the rice. The tomatoes were moldy.. The sushi chef kept saying the F word and pointing to the clock, we’ve been in twice before and he is always unhappy and cussing. However this time our sushi had a soured/rotten fish smell and had black hairs in it. Absolutely disgusting. A waste of $60. Get your food somewhere else and avoid this place at all cost!

Ordered 2 Alaskan Rolls (smoked salmon, avocado, and masago) They are $8.00 each. What I got were the tiniest mini rolls I’ve ever seen in my life. And two pieces didn’t even have avocado in them! Picture with quarter for size reference. I’ve NEVER seen any place do sushi rolls this tiny. Never again. Should’ve went to Wokano or even Kroger is better than this.

This was my first time ordering from Happy House. I had the chicken with garlic sauce dinner and my husband had the roasted pork lo mein dinner. Everything tasted amazing! Also, the price for both meals was great, especially since you get a lot of food with it. I think this is going to be our new favorite Chinese restaurant! Thank you so much, Happy House!

Pineapple chicken was excellent. Portion sizes are generous. House fried rice was not great and the rice was a bit crunchy. The Mongolian beef was good according to the husband; however, I felt it was too spicy and could not enjoy it. The man at the counter needs to work on his people skills. He was not very friendly and didn’t seem like he wanted to be there.

I really enjoy happy house for Chinese take out. One of my co-workers that lives in Columbus still likes to come up this way to get Happy House when he is in the area. It was the first place I had ever gotten Mai Fun and the shrimp mai fun is still one of my mom’s favorites. I don’t live in the area anymore, but when I am in the area to visit my mom I still enjoy it.

Many times my family has gotten food here and we keep hoping it will improve (along with the attitude at times). It has not. We ordered food again last night and it was horrible. It’s all soggy flavorless and old. It made me nauseous so I didn’t even keep eating it. I put it outside for the raccoons and they tasted it and left. They would not eat it. I put some other snacks out, they came back and ate them. It sat on the porch all night and was not eaten. Never again!

Wish they were available on Uber Eats and Doordash more often than they are. Almost every time I get on it’s closed or it’s open until I’m a step away from checking out and then it says closed. Would love to order more often from them because the food is pretty good.

We had lunch at Happy House, I had Kung Pao Chicken, she had Chicken and Broccoli, we shared a Dragon roll. Our meal was awesome! Enough left over for a late night snack. Service was quick and friendly and dining area appeared clean. Will eat here again. One improvement they could make is to serve dine in orders on real plates instead of foam.
Second time we ate here wasn’t as great. Too much gristle in my Kung Pao and restroom was nasty. Had a good time but doubt we will return.
Against our better judgment, we ate here a third time. This visit, there was no chicken at all in my Kung Pa Chicken, only breaded gristle. I wonder where the chicken is they cut all the gristle from??? Restroom was gross. We’ll never be back.

Canceled my Door Dash due to refusal of cleaning their utensils and pans for my seafood allergy. Very bad customer service! People don’t choose to have allergies but still like to eat good food.

Very disgusting place. Very dirty. Doesn’t wash their dishes. Cross contamination is a very real problem here. Every time we order from here we get sick. We told them about food allergies and asked if they can use a fresh pan or was the pan before cooking our food because of allergies and they said, and I quote “we don’t wash pans for anyone” and refused to do it. This place should be looked at by a food safety inspector and I plan to notify them asap.
