The staff are friendly, make the food quite quick no matter what time it is, as well as being able to adapt given the large number of ingredients they juggle. I haven’t had a bad experience with them at all.
The food is good. For the price, the portions are a decent size and quantity. I usually get nachos here whenever I am craving it, and the cheese is pretty good. Isn’t too stringy, but doesn’t solidify and harden quick. They allow you to choose toppings for it as well, which allows for more variety whenever needed.
I paid for a double portion for my chicken bowl, I did not get that. It had sour cream instead of guacamole. The meat was also pretty tough, and the rice should have been white not Mexican in the bowl.
I paid for 3 tacos and there was like 5 pieces of cubed chicken sprinkled in one taco and the other two tacos barely had any. The chicken that was in the tacos was dried out, and the mango salsa and other things I requested were barely present.
My plantains were burnt, to the point where the color changed to black and parts were inedible and too tough to chew.
My drink was like it was the actual drink on the bottom and water poured on top to help dilute it, and no, there was no ice present in the drink.
The chips and guacamole I got the chips were oddly cold, but tasted okay, and the guacamole was weirdly peppered.
I am also having some weird reaction where I am now wheezing and need to take an antihistamine when nothing in the ingredients should be causing this sort of reaction. I don’t know why this happened, but this should have not happened.
This is not okay. I will be disputing the charges with my bank to be refunded, and have contacted Door Dash, who only offered me $26 of a refund for a $49 order. I also contacted the business directly via email. Save your money, and head elsewhere.
This is one of their locations on Commonwealth Ave in Boston, Massachusetts. It’s on the campus at the Boston University.
The food was very good in the service was excellent. You’ll know the photos that I posted. The atmosphere is very clean and relaxing. Music is being played and has an open kitchen concept and you can see that it is well maintained.
One of the most important things in a public service establishment is the bathroom. I always give high marks If the bathroom is nice and clean and that was the case here. They had paper towels available and an air hand dryer. The fixtures were very well kept. It made for a comfortable experience.
The staff of course is very important and these people operating the business where well-mannered and polite. I enjoyed my time and the experience there and the price was very reasonable, especially for an establishment in Boston, one of the largest cities in the northeast. Enjoy your visit. I think you’ll love it!
