I had the most wonderful experience at Ethnico Mediterranean in Lambertville, NJ. From the moment we walked in, the owner and his wife welcomed us with such warmth, making us feel like part of their family. The service was incredibly fast, and every bite was a delight—from the simple gyro wraps to full grilled Bronzino and lamb kebabs in a delicious Mediterranean sauce. The decor could definitely use some updating, but give them time as this is a new restaurant also noticed during our dinner there was a lot of takeout and it’s BYOB great value for the dollar.

We started with the mezze platter, which was beautifully presented and full of color and texture. The staff are very friendly and it’s nice the restaurant is in a quiet corner of Lambertville. The barbecued meat, hummus, and salad were solid, but we are very particular about rice and it was for sure microwaved from the day before. It was also empty when we were there which made the atmosphere seem a little drab.

We tasted a few appetizers and a few entrees, family style, and each and every dish was perfectly made and presented. The Ali Nazik (lamb meatballs over eggplant spread) was ku favorite. The lamb was perfectly cooked and went well with the eggplant chutney and salad. The girls liked the Borek flatbread the best. We ended the evening with a pistachio roll and baclava which were just perfect. We can’t wait to come back. Oh yes, don’t forget to take your favorite bottle of wine!

Service was slow because there was only one person working he was our server/ cook and he was also handling orders for deliveries at the same time. When we asked him about small portions he said that everyone gets the same.
