I had the most wonderful experience at Ethnico Mediterranean in Lambertville, NJ. From the moment we walked in, the owner and his wife welcomed us with such warmth, making us feel like part of their family. The service was incredibly fast, and every bite was a delight—from the simple gyro wraps to full grilled Bronzino and lamb kebabs in a delicious Mediterranean sauce. The decor could definitely use some updating, but give them time as this is a new restaurant also noticed during our dinner there was a lot of takeout and it’s BYOB great value for the dollar.

We can’t wait to go back

Nestled right off of Bridge Stree, The Ethnico Mediterranean Cuisine is a hidden gem that delivers a true taste of Turkey and the Mediterranean in a warm, welcoming setting. Sharing a cozy building with Meta Café, this restaurant instantly gives off a friendly neighborhood vibe with its inviting outdoor tables and simple, charming decor.

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of grilled spices and fresh-baked bread sets the tone for an authentic experience. The staff is attentive and genuinely kind, adding to the homey atmosphere.

We started with the mezze platter, which was beautifully presented and full of color and texture. Each dip had its own character — the smoky baba ghanoush, the creamy hummus, and the perfectly tangy tzatziki. The falafel was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, and the stuffed grape leaves were fresh and well-seasoned.

The white bean salad was a standout — vibrant, fresh, and bursting with Mediterranean flavors. The parsley, tomatoes, and onions balanced beautifully with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon. Paired with the warm, soft Turkish bread, it made for the perfect bite.

Everything tasted homemade, fresh, and balanced — not too salty, not too oily, just right. You can tell there’s care put into each dish.

Final Thoughts:
If you’re looking for a delicious and authentic Turkish-Mediterranean meal in a relaxing, friendly setting, The Ethnico is absolutely worth a visit. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch or a casual dinner, the food, service, and atmosphere make it a memorable dining experience.

Must Try: The mezze sampler, white bean salad, and fresh-baked bread.

The staff are very friendly and it’s nice the restaurant is in a quiet corner of Lambertville. The barbecued meat, hummus, and salad were solid, but we are very particular about rice and it was for sure microwaved from the day before. It was also empty when we were there which made the atmosphere seem a little drab.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Lambertville – a family run business where every dish is prepared to suit the palette of the diner. We tasted a few appetizers and a few entrees, family style, and each and every dish was perfectly made and presented. The Ali Nazik (lamb meatballs over eggplant spread) was ku favorite. The lamb was perfectly cooked and went well with the eggplant chutney and salad. The girls liked the Borek flatbread the best. We ended the evening with a pistachio roll and baclava which were just perfect. We can’t wait to come back. Oh yes, don’t forget to take your favorite bottle of wine!

I dont know why anyone would go anywhere else. This food is the best. Fresh, healthy, bursting with flavor, and large portions. The service was excellent. BYOB with great wine stores 50 yards away. The food just makes you feel good. It is fresh and healthy. No bogged down, artery clogging feelings afterwards. I want to eat here every day!

Overpriced, small portions we got Grilled Kofte Kebab $23.00 each platter,Adana Wrap $18.00 each and “Large “ Shepard salad$13.00 plate was full of lettuce with one slice of tomato and cucumber cut in four pieces with some cheese on it.
Service was slow because there was only one person working he was our server/ cook and he was also handling orders for deliveries at the same time. When we asked him about small portions he said that everyone gets the same.
We left place hungry and disappointed.
