Really slow and rude service. Has really gone down hill. I continue to give it chances and this was the last time. The vibe wasn’t good but the service was absolutely awful. One of the servers (Sarah) was downright rude and the manager (Cindy our server) was non-existent. They easily left a few hundred dollars on the table by never coming and asking about drinks after the initial order. When we tried to ask other servers we were told it wasn’t their problem. I haven’t had a restaurant experience this bad in a very long time.
At the end of the meal it became clear why they couldn’t care less about the level of service they provide. They automatically add a 18% service fee. Absolutely no incentive to provide any level of service. There is absolutely no chance I will be coming back here. We live 5 mins away and I’ll drive 30 mins to avoid ever coming here again.

Samurai on Port Washington is hands down my go-to spot for hibachi—I visit about six times a year, and it never disappoints! For around $30, you get a huge portion of food that’s always fresh and flavorful. My favorite is the chicken and shrimp hibachi, and I absolutely love starting off with their crisp, tasty salad.
The entertainment is a big part of the experience, and I always look forward to seeing Jake as my cook. He’s been the chef for most of my visits, and his lively, comedic energy adds so much fun to the meal. It’s clear he enjoys what he does, and that really makes a difference.
If you’re looking for a delicious hibachi meal in a fun, family-friendly environment, I highly recommend giving Samurai a try!

Had a surprise party for my wife. She and everyone else loved it. I had her friend try a few places in the area (hibachi) and found this one as the best . We all had such a good time and the food was amazing.

Please come dine here! Ann, the server, is exceptional at her job. She is very kind and attentive. Danny, the chef, is great at technique, flair and execution of a delicious meal. If you come on a Tuesday or Wednesday, there are sushi and maki roll specials. A great celebration to get you through your week!

Food wasn’t that good. The steak in my Hibachi was full of gristle. It took forever to bring the food out on a Tuesday night, in a half empty restaurant, the dessert was awful, and the waitress had a bitchy attitude.

What can I say? This place has some of the best food! We had the Las Vegas Roll, California Roll, chicken tempura and seaweed salad. The food was hot and filling. Even at room temperature, the food was still delectable. The front desk worker was kind and assuring. She assured me that I ordered the favored rolls. I felt like my choice was top notch. Anything extra I needed, she made sure I had it. My ordered was COMPLETE! Chicken tempura – flaky and taste bud worthy; Las Vegas roll – I felt like I hit the jackpot; California roll – I was sun bathing in delight; Seaweed salad – the crunch kept me going back for more. This place should be on everyone’s bucket list.

I loved the location which provided ample parking. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. The service was also lacking. I ordered the HIBACHI COMBO filet mignon and shrimp which came with soup, salad and, 2 shrimp. That cost about $32.
