My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable dinner at Chamuyo, and it has officially become his favourite steak restaurant in London and honestly, I can see why.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and full of character. The food was simply outstanding: perfectly cooked steaks, full of flavour, top-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. Every bite confirmed that Chamuyo truly knows how to do steak at its very best.
What made the night even more special was the exceptional service. Alex was absolutely wonderful charming, attentive, and genuinely warm. She took such great care of us, making sure we had the best possible experience, and it was clear she was doing the same for the entire restaurant. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she truly spoiled us throughout the whole evening with her professionalism and kindness.
A fantastic place, incredible food, and service that makes you feel truly welcomed and cared for. We’ll definitely be back very soon!!!!!

I visited this Argentinian restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The bread with blue cheese butter was a simple touch, but absolutely delicious.
I ordered both steak and chicken, and the steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor easily my favorite in London so far.
To finish, I enjoyed a refreshing limoncello shorts, which was the perfect ending to an amazing meal.

Great steak, great service, great atmosphere. Prices could be cheaper if they wanted to compete with commodity steak houses but they’re so much better that the actual price is totally justified. Highly recommend a visit. Try the sampler.

We wanted to have good food and I must say, we chose the right place!
When we arrived it was around 6:30pm, the place was about a third full and we were greeted and sat down straight away.
We ordered calamari as a starter, I had a steak and my wife ordered lamb chops. We also ordered grilled mushrooms and chunky chips as sides.
Everything was more than enough for 2 people.
The steak and lamb chops were perfectly cooked.
The place started to get full of customers after 7pm.
As this place is quite local to us, we would definitely come here again.

It was a truly wonderful experience and after so many years searching for a good steak, we found the right place! Lovely food, lovely people and the atmosphere makes you feel very much at home, especially for those of us who come from that part of the world. We had the best steak in town and cooked to perfection! and the side dishes were really delicious. Our congratulations to the chef and the staff who treated us so warmly. Thank you and keep it up!

One of my favourite restaurants in London! Great food, service, vibes and a nice dinner setting. The waitress was super friendly and awesome! The food was especially really good; the rump steak was cooked perfectly, not too red and not too raw, just the right amount of tastiness and chewiness. I highly recommend the lamp chops which are soooo good; the sauce that they use is top notch along with the vegetables that come with it. Definitely check this place out!

We recently visited this restaurant for a celebration after seeing it promoted on TikTok as halal-friendly. I tried reaching out beforehand via email and TikTok to confirm the halal status, unfortunately, I never received a response.
Despite the lack of communication, we decided to give it a try. The menu included items like chorizo, which is traditionally made with pork. Given the way the restaurant was marketed, I assumed it might be a halal or beef-based alternative. When we asked in person, we were told the beef was halal, but there was no clear explanation about other items.
For those who strictly follow a halal diet, please note:
• They do serve pork (e.g., chorizo).
• They do serve alcohol.
• Only some of the meats may be halal so it’s definitely worth checking in person and being specific.
On a positive note, the steak itself was excellent, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. But the service left much to be desired. Our waiter seemed moody and unwelcoming, which affected the overall atmosphere. Customer service overall was below average.
For the price we paid, and considering the overall experience and service, I honestly believe there are better options nearby. There’s a great halal steak restaurant in close proximity that I’d much rather choose in the future for both peace of mind and better service.
Would I go back?
Maybe for the steak.
But for service, hospitality, and halal transparency no, I wouldn’t.
I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision, especially those with dietary concerns.
