Our family has catered food from Shri cafe multiple times over the years and we were delighted to experience the same taste at their restaurant. The menu rotates daily and they always have something new and interesting to offer.
We ordered the idiyappam, idlis and mutton paaya, naati mutton biriyani and kesari bath for Sunday brunch. Everything was 10/10. The mutton paaya was savory and perfectly cooked. The idiyappam and idlis were soft and fluffy. Aromas of the mutton biriyani brought back memories of home. We tried the idli sambhar and Akki rotti – both of them were too good ! The idli was soft. It reminded me of the taste we get in Bangalore. Glad to have a South Indian spot which I can frequent.

I ordered dry fruits sweet and black sesame seeds sweet and they were excellent. The quality of ingredients they used are extremely good!

Ordered South Indian food for a party and it had the authenticity. It’s a new set up so they are still working on setting up the store. I could spot the Filter coffee filter In a corner and I was told that they will be serving authentic filter coffee along with other South Indian delicacy like Idly and Dosa’s. There is a specific kind of magic in finding a meal that tastes exactly like home and this was it. I had Ambur Biryani and Akki Roti with Yengai (Brinjal curry) and both had a genuine taste that is hard to find somewhere else. Whether you are a fan of regional Karnataka specialities or a great plate of biryani, this spot does not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. will definitely be coming back for more!

Cute little place hidden away in the heart of the city. Was greeted by a very pleasant lady at the counter. There were very few options on the menu – more so if you’re vegetarian, but whatever was served tasted great. Love the decomposable packaging.
