Had my first experience here today. Really great chicken fingers with light breading. Fries were great, crispy and not dried out. Their special sauce is really good as well.

Service was poor—the cashier kept asking the same questions repeatedly. Orders for 6+ customers ahead of me were incorrect. However, the manager was polite and genuinely tried to resolve all the issues. Despite the service problems, the food itself was great.

Ordering is simple and quick. Food is ready pretty fast and tasted delicious too.
Ambience wise is okay. This location is pretty clean. Staff always making sure the cleanliness of the place, especially drinks area. Kudos to them!

OK, I have been to several Raising Canes, but I just want to say I love the location here in Waukegan. First of all, it’s clean, has great service, great atmosphere, scrumptious food etc.
But I have to say the owner or the manager or whomever he was, was walking around, checking on customers and thanking the Navy visitors that were here today, for what they do. Super friendly guy and that just makes everybody happy! It’s the little things. That’s customer service. I give them five chickens out of five, of course.
Also, I love that they have several pictures from Great America, including a vintage Marriott’s great America Picture. I love that and it is very specific to this area!
Anyway, check them out if you like delicious tasting juicy chicken and wonderful crinkle cut fries.

The food quality was poor. The chicken wasn’t crispy it was covered in skin and chewy. It was very unappealing. But more unappealing was the attitude of the young lady at the window. She was rude from the get-go. They messed up my sauces which I paid extra for. Which she repeated to me correctly then when I asked for the right sauce she got an attitude and said no you didn’t ask for that (uh you just repeated that I did and it’s on my receipt). I also ordered an unsweet iced tea. After I pulled away and tasted it, it was a sweet tea. I went back around and asked for an unsweet iced tea to which I was also given attitude for. I will definitely never be returning to this location and I can’t wait till Chick-fil-A opens across the street. I’m sure they will give you a good run for your money. Their food quality and customer service will definitely trump yours.

The manager, Joe, was very polite, attentive and courteous. It was my first time there and he explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I’m handicapped and he brought my food to the table and occasionally came back to check that I was ok and needed anything more. That’s kindness too!!!

I don’t like the online ordering system
The app doesn’t allow you to notify them when you arrive and I had to phone them. And to literally speak so loud in order for them to hear me and I had to repeat myself multiple times and a 2nd person was able to finally hear me. I wish there was a simpler method like at other fast food restaurants. This is very inconvenient

Had my first meal in Chicago from Raising Cane’s, and it was just as I remembered—familiar and comforting. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, the toast was buttery, and the sauce never disappoints. It’s always nice to have a reliable option, especially when you’re in a new city. The to-go experience was smooth, and the food was just as good as I expected. Would definitely return!

Do they not care about quality any more? The chicken strips were at 1/3rd smaller than a couple years ago. The breading is heavier. The garlic bread got smaller. Prices went up. The service was ok. I used to love Cane’s. I feel they are slipping. I won’t go out of my way to go to Cane’s any longer.
