We finally found an opportunity to try Dumpling and Bao. What a wonderful treat it was! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere and interior design was amazing and the staff where very attentive and happy. Multiple wait staff came by and asked how we were doing, they asked picked up empty plates like snipers did it with a smile. The food was DELICIOUS and everything you hoped for and the price was surprising low. The soup dumplings held a deceptively large amount of soup and flavor. We can’t wait to go back!

I had seen Dumpling and Bao on Instagram and had been wanting to try. It did not disappoint. My daughter and I went on a Friday afternoon with no wait. The food was delicious and filling. We had the vegetable boa steamed dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings, scallion pancakes with a hoisin sauce, and the deep fried green beans. Our waiter, Ryan, was very helpful and attentive. I wish we had more in our group so we could try more menu items. I will definitely be back!

I love dumplings, not many places in Louisiana that serves them. Seen a video on this place and went.
Small place, awesome decorating. The menu is …. Unique, laminated plastic, I believe.
The menu does not have much variety, but what they have, they are good at. We ordered the Fried Chicken and Fried Pork Dumplings.
They were not fried like we are used to in NY, but were still awesome! I would recommend the steamed version.
We also had the beef Chow Mein, which was simply incredible. Definitely try that.
Happy now that I have a place to fill my cravings for Dumplings!

Everything was amazing. The food was fresh and fast, the soup dumplings were really good, and the chow mein. Our waiter Ryan was helpful and attentive explaining the menu items to us. Overall great experience ! Also tried the red bean ice cream and it was surprisingly good. Environment was calm and clean as well! Will be back 🙂

This was my first time experiencing the food, atmosphere staff of this establishment. The food was juicy, rich with flavor and truly fresh. You can tell that the cooks really take pride in each dish they repair for their customers. The staff was pleasant, helpful and inviting, my waiter name was (Logan Chaney) he consistently checked on us ensuring we had a 5 star experience. (Logan Chaney) stated it was his first day, but from how he interacted with me and providing great hospitality , his Newness in his role did not show at all. He made the whole meal from start-to-finish top-notch! The atmosphere was calming with the decorations, the background music that kept things lively with culture and the my favorite movie Jurassic World was on playing, keeping me entertained while I enjoyed my absolutely stunning of a meal! Thanks so much (Logan Chaney) for ensuring my first moments here were special and unforgettable!

A friend brought me here. They knew I was a dumpling fan and would be eager to try this place out. We didn’t have reservation and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. To start, I would say definitely try to get reservations or get there early. Where are some dumplings to start off and then the beef spicy soup. The beef soup was definitely good and a little spicy. The chicken and pork dumplings were amazing. Service was a little off, but they were slammed with people.

It was our first time here and the food was really good and our serving Ryan was awesome. Checking on us frequently to see if we enjoyed the food and provided recommendations. We got the bang bang shrimp, beef scallion pancakes, pork bao and spicy beef noodle soup. Everything tasted delicious. The bang bang shrimp was my persona favorite and the best I’ve ever had. It was a great experience and good food! Not a ton of options to choose from but we understood that is because attention to detail is needed on the handmade dumplings!!! The veggie dumpling and veggie soup was very very “vegetarian” not a really good flavor but the dumplings were huge and filled.. the spicy dumplings as the appetizer we’re AMAZING!! The left over oil from them made a great dipping sauce, recommend by our outstanding server!! I wasnt a fan of the veggie noodle soup so I took my noodle out and put them in the left over dumpling oil! The beef lo mein was absolutely AMAZING!! So dang flavorful!!! The bang bang shrimp were good too! We got the chicken soup filled dumplings and i have never tasted a broth more flavorful in my life! It was amazing!!! Only down fall was that 2 out of the 6 dumplings did not have any broth in them.. We wanted the scallion pancakes but they were out! We were served some ginger vinegar (i think) for dipping and that was amazing also!!! Everything is definitely hand made here and i appreciated it very much! I wish i remembered our servers name, he was the sweetest thing to walk this earth (besides Jesus) we will be returning to try more!!!!

Super good food and nice atmosphere. We loved everything we ordered – spicy beef noodle soup, pan fried pork dumplings, steamed chicken dumplings, egg rolls, and strawberry cheesecake. Our server, Ryan, was very friendly and helpful as well.
