Great new taco restaurant near Sam’s Club. Awesome food! We shared a combo for a mid-afternoon snack. Our food came out really quickly. The Mexi-Cali Shrimp Taco was delicious. Can’t wait to return when the weather is a little warmer to try out the really cool outdoor covered patio (See in video). We will def go back.

I normally don’t do reviews but this place earned one. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, excellent customer service. The food was outstanding, me and my wife got the “Say What” combos and the tacos were stuffed. The meats were tender and juicy and the other ingredients were super. The queso here is the best I’ve had since being in Oklahoma! Overall a great experience and a 10/10!! Highly recommend The Velvet Taco.

So sorry you guys… not impressed. I’ve tried coming back three times now and it’s still not okay. I am comparing locations to Norman and to Tulsa. I always order the same two tacos- cauliflower and fish. This time I’m leaving a review because the fish fillet I got in my taco was about 2 inches long and an inch wide. I literally thought it was the cauliflower taco at first bite, like the fish was fried caulflower it was so small. No other filet in it. There was almost no filling which is in contrast to the other two locations. The service needs help to you guys. Whoever the manager is, needs to start inspiring the crew. Don’t let this place keep going downhill.

I highly recommend Velvet Taco in North Oklahoma City. The atmosphere was great and the staff were awesome. They were a lot of fun and had great customer service and recommendations. The food was amazing! I had the Waffle Tacos and they were amazing! My husband had a Cheeseburger Taco and Burria Taco and he said they were both delicious! We ended up going with the combo option that gave us two tacos, a side, and a drink for $14.50. It was worth it!

Amazing!! Before I walked in I was thinking Taco Bell. The menu was definitely NOT a Taco Bell menu. Nothing ordinary at all. I ordered the grilled steak taco, it had mushrooms, oregano, onions, and cheese, I normally would never order something with mushrooms but I was absolutely pleasantly surprised!! Beyond delicious!!! My husband got the slow roasted angus brisket taco, it was chalked full of so much!! He likes it like that!! I tried it and it was very tasty! We got the queso cheese dip as a side and it was better than I have ever had! This was a spur of the moment stop as we are in Oklahoma to visit our daughter for Christmas.

Well I’ve ordered this many times and it came different every time. That obviously wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I pulled in and the drive through guy was on the balcony. Not a huge deal but then I got to the window to see some lady pulling food from under the cabinets where they served the meals. I watched her sit and eat tortillas, food bowls etc while sitting in the drive through. I didn’t care because it was late and there was not many people. Then I got my food…….chips were stale rice too but whatever. and let’s just say I won’t go back anymore. The food wasn’t what I’ve experienced before. And the service didn’t help. I see why the line was dead.

We visited Velvet Taco, and the experience was underwhelming . The location was completely empty, which felt strange ️. The menu is a challenge to read , and the food, for the cost, isn’t worth it . Nothing really stood out, and it didn’t feel like a good value . With so many other great taco spots around ️, this one didn’t quite hit the mark. Hopefully, they can improve in the future ✨.

Nice little taco joint. Stopped here on a business trip for a quick bite before I hit the road home. Great selection of tacos and even better service. Definitely order sides if you are pretty hungry, for the tacos are pretty average in size, but dang, they are delicious. I would highly recommend hitting this joint and enjoying the amazing tacos they have here.
