The staff is very friendly here. Has a mom and pop sort of vibe. I eat at this restaurant because their Bún bò Huế is the best I have ever had. It’s cash only but I can not say enough about how amazing the soup is. Plenty of parking

Bun Beo and Mi Quang are both excellent here. Other non pho dishes are also exceptional.

Delicious! Best bun bo hue I’ve had.
All ingredients are plentiful, very fresh and clean. The sausage was spicy & flavorful. We arrived early afternoon & although the place was swamped, we were seated immediately. Food took a bit to arrive at the table but it was hot & the service was efficient. Definitely a keeper & will return!

My family came here as a party of 6. It was the busiest time for them when we arrived. The wait was quick. Our server was very nice and gentle! Considering how busy it was. The experience was 1010.

We order bún bò Huế. It was a solid 810. The order comes with a big plate of fresh vegetables which really pushes the dish over to 1010.

I would def recommend coming her for lunch!

Bun Bo Hue is my new favorite Vietnamese soup now after pho and this place didn’t disappoint. The soup was loaded and also the plate of veggies. Broth is very tasty. The jackfruit salad is also good with crackers.

I have been wanting to try this place because I heard their banh beo ( steamed rice cake with pork grinds ) and banh bot loc ( steam clear tapioca dumpling with shrimp ) are really good.

They are not disappointing, service is fast and refill our water a few times. The banh beo with fish sauce is delicious and the banh bot loc is similar to shrimp dumpling ( dim sum ) but chewy and has good flavor. They are also good for sharing in the group!

We also ordered bun Bo hue, can’t really handle spicy so we ordered mild but it is still too spicy for us I think it is a good choice with people that like spicy. But the pork blood and beef flank are good.

Parking lot have tiny parking spaces so be careful when parking. We arrive around 11am so no wait to the restaurant. Will come back for banh beo and banh bot loc! Price wise each dish is around $15 or less so it’s affordable.

Best mì Quảng in town! They have the most authentic mì Quảng that we have ever had so far in the US. Their mì Quảng does not have a lot of soup (exactly how it is served in central Vietnam) and the flavor was on point, coupled up with the full toppings and fresh vegetables. Yummy! I also tried their Combo Bánh bèo, bánh lọc, bánh nậm and it was really delicious; however, bánh bột lọc was thick so it was hard to chew. I like their fish sauce and the crunchy pork rinds on top were just perfect. My mom tried their Bún bò Huế, and she liked it as well (however, it could be quite salty for a lot of people). Their flavors just hit so many spots.

Their parking is spacious, although some specific spot can be narrow (typical in California so we don’t mind). Waiting time can be long and they have a long waiting list. The only thing we didn’t like was the small space within the restaurant. It was a bit too crowded and all the tables were close together as well. Their service felt a bit rush since they were busy, but things just felt hasty.

Overall, I would still recommend due to the authentic flavors!

Business is busy even on a Tuesday lunch time. We had the phenomenal trio of bun bo hue, mi quang, and combination platter (banh nam, banh bot loc, and banh beo). The flavors were deep and tasted just right. On top of that, the prices are fairly set considering it to be located in the heart of OC. 10/10 will come back!
