Cute little cafe at a small airport, was pleasantly surprised at this cute and unique place to have breakfast after hiking Mt Rubidoux! The food was good, the French toast was really good and I loved how they use random coffee cups for everyone! Also was cool to look at the planes, that was a nice bonus!

Super breakfast! Small cafe by the runway, lots of historic information and planes on display around the quaint airport. Stepped down on star for atmosphere, as there used to be many old-times Airplane and Riverside artifacts that with the remodel were removed, but still excellent service, great coffee and super biscuits and gravy. Just an fyi…you have to drive through neighborhoods with narrow roads for a block or two, but worth it.

I don’t eat much for breakfast, and love chicken fried steak. Most serve a huge portion, but they have a lovely and tasty 3 ounce portion with one egg, hash browns and a piece of toast. It was perfect!

The owner of the Riverside Airport Cafe is now the owner of Flabob Airport Cafe. The food at RAC is terrific. The food at FAC is terrific. My problem is that if I wanted RAC food I’d go to RAC. I come to FAC because the one thing I want on the menu is the nostalgic S.O.S. If you don’t know what that is Google it. I guess it’s just me and a package of Stouffer’s Creamed Chipped Beef from now on. Available at Ralph’s. No need to come here anymore. I’m sad.

I’ve been in riverside for a few years and I had no idea about this gem in rubidoux. The service was quick, as was the food. The portions were large. The widow seats offer a view of antique airplanes. It’s worth a visit.
