We had a 12-person table where everyone was comfortably seated, and the set menu offered two options per course — a great touch that made it feel personalized. My wife and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary. This was our first visit to Vino Rossa and we had a fantastic night! We were there for 2 1/2 hours, we never stay that long at any restaurant, and it was by choice! The food was simply spectacular, the same level as any high-end restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. And I mean everything; the focaccia with olives and peppers to start, the crab cake entrées, our main dishes, the pistachio ice cream cake for dessert, all of it was five-star for both my wife and I. Obviously, that’s important when deciding to ever return to a restaurant, but it was our waiter who made the night. His genuine friendliness and hospitality was through the roof. He made us laugh constantly, he took care of absolutely everything we needed without ever needing to ask, every suggestion he made was spot on. It was just the perfect storm of pace, atmosphere, food and hospitality. It’s really rare for us to get a night out to ourselves, so when we do and it turns out amazing, we really appreciate it. I’d recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone!

I hadn’t realized that this restaurant was open to the public, thinking it was a part of the event space at Le Crystal. I have been to lunch there twice in the last month. The food is wonderful, beautifully presented and tasty. Service is top notch, something we seldom experienced e nowadays. This is our new place to go.

Most dishes were outstanding: the grilled octopus, the calf’s liver in a perfect port and fruit sauce (seems there were blackberries and cranberries, maybe raspberries) and the chocolate soufflé to finish perfectly. I am very eager to return.
The only thing less than perfect was that in the prosciutto with melon, the melon was too cold. The ice cream served with the soufflé was also too cold. Of course, one or two minutes later the temperature was OK. Their fridge is apparently very efficient!
