Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. Since our first Villa Pizza next to the CBS/Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway, our commitment to quality and genuine hospitality remains the basis of our foundation.
Counter-serve pizza chain with traditional pies & slices, plus pasta & other Italian staples.

The pizza was pretty standard — not the best I’ve had but not bad at all. The calzone was very big — it was a little undercooked but I actually prefer them a little doughy so I enjoyed it. The garlic knots were fantastic — definitely my favorite part of the order. It’s worth a try if you’re at the mall.

They call it a stromboli, but it’s a roll. They made it smaller, less filling, and it’s $7.28 after tax. Definitely below value.

Went in on 8/10/24 to purchase a large pizza.
The tall black gentleman working the register (I wish I asked his name) was such a nice and polite man. He asked if I wanted a drink, which is very smart of him to be doing. It’s good business practice
I can tell he really wants to make connections and you don’t find many people doing that nowadays. I don’t usually go and leave reviews, but he left such an impression on me that I just had too.
I hope he keeps up the hard work and positive attitude.

Pizza was barely warm and not very good. Prices were sky high for subpar pizza

Better food choice during my latest visit with this pepperoni stromboli

I was going to describe how the tomato dipping sauce for my pepperoni roll was more like tomato water, or explain how the cashier had no clue how to operate the register and tried to double charge me for my food (always always get a receipt anywhere you go). But you’ll forgive me if that was overshadowed by the 6 INCH LONG HAIR that was baked INTO the entire length of the roll. But hey, since it was embedded INSIDE of the thing and pulled out like some horrific scene, I guess that means they bake all of their rolls in-store right?

I love rhe pizza at this South hills mall location. I make the trip to the mall just to get a slice of pizza. The stand is very clean & organized. The service is pretty fast & the clerks are very welcoming & courteous. No pushing you to make an order. Jan normally waits on me often telling le about everything that’s Available. One day I might try something else, but right now I’m stuck on the pizza

Very consistent, delicious pizza for the past 10+ years. Love the choices of toppings on the ready-made slices for a quick lunch. Enjoy the side dish choices but please consider bringing back the pasta meal options with chicken parm and the Lasagna! The friendly staff always makes me smile.
