Even in you are not a alcohol consumer, the Location, atmosphere & quality of service coupled with good , clean food makes this a great restaurant.
A definite must visit in Hershey.
The atmosphere and vibe is incredible inside of this industrial style building. The music was a mix of 70’s and 80’s and it was a nice soft tone so conversations could be had easily.
My wife ordered the venison burger with fries and I had the dry rubbed half rack of ribs but subbing out the mashed potatoes for the red quinoa and rice. The burger was cooked perfectly and very juicy. The look on her face when she had the first fry said it all. When the ribs were sat in front of me, I could smell the smoke right away. I pulled the first bone out cleanly, picked up a chunk of that glorious meat and wow, what an explosion of flavors. There was cherry wood, sweet notes from the rub and also herbs came through. My wife started to chuckle at my expressions as I enjoyed every last bite. Those ribs were top four best ribs I ever had, and I was stationed in Texas for two years. They also have Carolina and bourbon BBQ sauce options and I WILL be trying both of those soon. The red quinoa and rice was delicious but be forewarned, it also had a spicy kick to them. So if you’re sensitive to spices, skip this side. Even the coleslaw was crunchy, creamy, and done just right.
Janelle couldn’t have been a better hostess. She was super friendly, kept our drinks topped up, and her positive vibe was greatly appreciated. 10/10 on service.
I didn’t have a drink as I was driving but I’ve had their bourbon which is sold at the state store, and it’s a nice balanced spirit.
We’ll definitely be back very soon. I couldn’t recommend this fine establishment strongly enough to anyone wanting a great meal, outstanding service, and an incredible dining experience.
Came here prior to a concert at Hershey Stadium. Enjoyed the food overall with the mahi tacos were a bit crispier, the still fries a bit less garlic potent, and the Caesar dressing a bit more taste.
They do have a tofu side for $4, so if you’re not in need of all the corn products, that could totally be used to pad out the Brussels sprouts.
Speaking of, the Brussels were the star of the show. Soaked in a balsamic-esque teriyaki sauce, topped with pickled ginger and cashews. The flavors worked so well together! There’s plenty of sauce if you choose to mix the plain tofu in there.
For what it’s worth, i didn’t notice any meaty smells or flavors on the Brussels, so i suspect they may have separate fryers. (2 hours later, i still have no negative intestinal reactions)
It is frustrating though that the menu indicates “vegetarian” but not “vegan” it’s always scary relying on the memories of servers. (And what if we want to order take-out? We need to call ahead and ask what is vegan, and then put the order through? Why not just be transparent and error-proof?)
They do have outside seating, but it has no canopy, so if it is raining, you’ll have to eat inside or do take-out. (They do have a back room if you’re uncomfortable eating inside the main room with everyone else.)
