If you like sandwich shops, you’re about to have a new favorite spot.
The problem – We ordered two sandwiches through the app, during a busy evening, and picked up two sandwiches with pieces missing. I called the store to let them know about the mistake and the manager immediately worked to make it right, offering to remake the sandwiches if we came in.
The resolution – We’ve all been in this situation but it’s uncommon to be heard by someone who wants to make your experience a good one. Our second trip we ate in the restaurant, and couldn’t decide who had the better sandwich between the BLTA and the Sicilian.
There’s a warmth to this place in the way it’s decorated and crafted. Display elements are hand-built and look rustic. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the food was amazing.
If you go, I hope you get to meet Keisha, and that I spelled her name right. Don’t forgot to look into their club for repeat customers, because you can earn a free sandwich there, too!

I hadn’t visited potbelly since downtown Chicago a few years ago. Kept forgetting there was one close by now, so I jumped online and ordered a sandwich today as I was driving back home. I got the Southwest Avo Chicken Wrap. It was delicious!
I was really hungry so I started eating it on the way home. It’s quite messy as most wraps are, and I had to laugh when I found one loan napkin in the bag. Usually you find a mound of napkins which I don’t like that either because it’s wasteful. However, I could have used two or three with this sandwich.
The only place I found to park was at the opposite end across from Tropical Smoothie. Every other spot was taken, and sure enough, when I went inside to pick up my sandwich, there was quite the line and the place was packed. I was glad I ordered ahead.
I appreciate the paper bags they use, wish are obviously recyclable. I noticed Subway has gone to this as well so it’s about time.
Anyway, it was a good experience and I’m glad there’s a Potbelly close now.

My family and I visit this place for the first time after a very difficult trip from Florida. We just wanted a good sandwich and all we got was a bad meal and the worst service we have ever received. First off, we walked in and nobody acknowledged us. We were looking at the menu and the employee John, whose name was on the receipt (he was not wearing a name-tag) looked so unpleasant with our presence. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and he automatically said “you want white or multigrain bread” in the most rudest way imaginable. I had a hard time hearing him and I asked him to please repeat what he said and he repeated it even worst. He kept the same attitude during the whole order. He asked me if I wanted anything else and I order the Loaded Baked Potato and he asked “do you want everything on it” and I said: “yes the loaded baked potato soup” and he sarcastically said “I know the title says Loaded Baked Potato but do you want everything on it?” And I said yes I do! It was just the way he was treating us!! Like come on we are human beings, is our first time in that place and you act like that when you basically have a job thanks to the client that actually goes and eat there. I ask myself how places like this can be open. My whole family works in the service industry and I cannot believe the unpleasant experience my family and I had in this place.

I walked into the store at 5:30pm today 2/17/2026. I saw a young man making a sandwich and a young lady working the opposite side making a sandwich as well. I stood by the registers to by to cookies. The whole time no one acknowledged me not once. A couple walk in after and went to the back to start a sandwich order. I was waiting to just by two cookies which would have been a quick transaction but the no. The couple got acknowledged before me. Granted I’ve been there for 5 minutes. So I walked out leaving the cookies by the register. I then called shortly after asking for a manager… a young man answer the phone and stating that the manager was busy making a sandwich and straight up hung up on me after saying it. Look I never make such claims but that store is straight up racist. I believe they did all that because I was black. I will never go there again. You guys got cameras ain’t no way that looks good at all.

Got a sandwich and they ignored to add 7 ingredients that I asked/paid for. Just gave me a plain sandwich and figured I wouldn’t know till I got home. On top of that the mac and cheese that was ordered was disgusting. Noodles were rubbery and cheese was runny. Really liked the sandwiches here but can’t believe getting a sandwich at 8 when they close at 10 would be this bad. Want to be a return customer but contemplating it at this point

February 1, 2026 was a waste of time. On that day, I were trying to place a catering delivery order over the phone for the Super Bowl 2026 event. After I have placed my order along with my information, lady had put me on hold twice. One is from taking note and two is from checking my delivery information.
Later, she couldn’t finish my order because system wouldn’t go through. She told me that she had to get her manager. So, long story short. I waited four hours for her manager to get here and still haven’t taken my order due to delivery being out of range because I were living in Avon.
You know what, I don’t even want catering delivery order for February 8, 2026 anymore because I just realized that trying to place a catering delivery order over the phone is a waste of time. In total, I have called over here like five times already.

We went shortly after their grand opening. They sent out coupons that you could buy one get one free sandwiches as part of the grand opening promotions. We ordered two sandwiches and upgraded one of them to a wrap, which you could get at no additional cost per their signs. When we got to the counter the lady manager would not honor the coupon because she said the “wrap wasn’t a sandwich”(?!). The lady manager was very rude the whole time. Won’t be back.

This place is not going to stay around long with the staff they have in place. Staff seems miserable, no smiles, not even a greeting, “What do you want” is all you are going to get. Sucks because my kids love the sandwiches but I refuse to go back. Good bye PotBelly it was a nice thought but extremely bad staffing will put you out of business quick. By the 2.7 rating at the time I’m leaving this, it seems it has already started.

Really sucks to give this place 1 star because I’ve loved Potbelly for a while and was really excited one was opening so close to my house.
Sandwich was good and as expected. The issue was the customer service.
Whoever was working the toppings station (which I think was the manager as she was the only person dressed in a polo and didn’t have an apron) was THE RUDEST person I’ve ever encountered in a customer facing role. She was unbelievably combative. Started the process by turning her back to us then screaming “I’M LISTENING!” at us in a really rude tone. She made 2 of our sandwiches wrong and rolled her eyes at us when we pointed it out. Basically chucked the bags at us and screamed “YOU’RE WELCOME” as we walked away.
It looks like she’s been written about in here before. Hopefully she gets some training or is moved to a less stressful role before this place starts losing business. Really terrible first impression unfortunately.

Got Mac n cheese as a side. It’s been the first time I have got it to where I feel like they rushed to make it. Super runny. Noodles are hard. If I could add a pic I would but no option. You can see the white from the milk that needed to be mixed in. They are obviously understaffed!!!!
