Ironwood is one of those lively and comfortable establishments that combine the best of a pub and restaurant and sports bar. I could easily imagine hanging out a few hours every week with friends and family. The swiss mushroom burger and fries I had were cooked just right, and I believe there was only one menu item over $20. Our server was not only quick and attentive, she was one of the nicest people I’ve met recently. Ironwood, our new favorite.

Did drinks and an appetizer. Warm pretzel bites were really cut up sticks, but fried so thats a bonus! The mustard dip & queso were delicious. The waitstaff were attentive & kind, even when they were swamped. Beers on tap lean more domestic than craft. The drink was exactly what I was craving. They got bonus points for my initial in the ice overall fabulous locals spot. Will try again for actual food, overall menu looked decent.

Passing through to Ludington from Lansing. We stopped here for lunch because the reviews were so good. IBG did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the pork rinds for an appetizer. The Angry Bird and Bang bang wrap for our entrée. Both were incredibly yummy. The staff was nice and we didn’t have to wait long for hot, fresh, and delicious grub. I would eat here again, and I recommend you try it if you haven’t yet. For such good food, the prices were very reasonable.

– Iron Fries: I could eat these all day! They served it with a wonderful cheese sauce. I had the chips and fries, too, but they were nothing to write home about. GET THE IRON FRIES! SO WORTH IT!
I heard their Lake Perch basket is their best seller and I still want to try their Loaded Tots. I’ll probably be back…(to be continued)

The food was pretty good and the vibe seemed cool. What I was surprised at is how they dealt with a larger group. The order in which they fulfilled our requests was completely different than the order they took them in, wish made no sense. In fact, they had missed someone’s order entirely, but they STILL fulfilled that order before giving some people their food who had ordered very early. Hard to do that to a big group of adults and kids. And for the group we had it took over 2 hours to order and get our food.

We went to Ironwood Bar & Grill today for our first time. We will definitely be back. They have a very diverse menu offering items such as burgers, sandwiches, soups/salads, Mexican, a variety of baskets, big plate dinners, and more. I chose the 12oz ribeye dinner. They first brought out the salad with plenty of toppings. I couldn’t believe how big it was for a side salad. Then they brought out the baked potato and steak. The potato was so good that it practically melted in my mouth. The ribeye was pure perfection. It was so flavorful, tender, and juicy. We shared a brownie sundae. It was made up of a rich and chewy brownie, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and both chocolate and caramel sauce drizzled over it. The atmosphere was casual. However, there were also people that were dressed up. I feel that the prices are comparable to other bar and grills, if not better. They offer a wide variety of drinks, trivia nights, and live music on the weekends.

One star cause I can’t do less. Well we have gone here for awhile and they don’t seem to change. They think that not writing down your order makes them great. Well not for me. Once I got a wrap with tomatoes. Said highly allergic and thay must have taken them off because that night had a huge reaction. Went tonight. If not look yet again tomatoes all over my salad that I’m allergic to. Did he write that down. Nope. But then they gave me ice cold tater tots. Do you get fresh ones? Nope. Reheated and over cooked. Any place in walker is better food and service than here.

It wasn’t blow your mind great, but it was good food.
It comes out hot, it has good flavors, the portions are on the larger side and it wasn’t expensive. There were a lot of items that I want to go back and try, but for sure I will be ordering a half basket of onion rings every time I go there, the onion rings were really good.

The food was excellent and love the atmosphere here. There are high and low tables, booths and comfortable, love having choices like this. We meet here at least once or twice a month. This was by far the most disappointing time here. Our waitress was terrible, had to wait for refills, or for drinks. We sat there for a long time before she took our order and she barely checked on us. I was very disappointed ☹️

Went inside to ask about size of salad for a to-go order. Waited 5 mins to be seen. Instructed about a medium plate size. Asked for gf dressing. Order verbally chef salad no onion no cucumber no cheese. 15 mins later got food. Didn’t notice receipt wrong until opened to a grilled chicken salad at work. I’m eating it but very disappointed bc I really wanted a chef salad. Chicken isn’t too bad. To-go size is small.
