We’re from Texas and I have to tell you Jose’s special, the fajitas was awesome! Jose himself took care of us and is a great guy. He got my fajitas exactly how I liked them with beef and shrimp only. It normally comes with pork and chicken as well. What made it different and good was he had pineapple mixed in with the meat and other veggies. Never had it like that before in Texas and it tasted great. The wife had the enchilada’s and was very happy with them. The white queso with the chorizo was great too. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants some great Mexican food.

Omgosh! The BEST fajitas we’ve ever had! You MUST eat here and get the shrimp cocktail-authentic. Must try the Jose fajitas. They’re like no other I’ve ever had. The personal service was outstanding!

Food was served very quickly, which I appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Mexican music was playing in the background, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. As for the food — it was okay. Nothing bad to say, but nothing outstanding either. Overall, it’s a decent place to stop by if you’re in the area.

From the Don Julio top-shelf margarita (which only comes in JUMBO, y’all!) to the food, everything was amazing. My mom and I shared their famous “Jose” Fajitas, and OMG… talk about fresh and flavorful! Every bite was sizzling perfection. ️
Now let’s talk about the guacamole… I usually pass on it because some places love to get fancy and mess it up with weird ingredients. But Cabos keeps it real! Just natural, fresh, simple ingredients—and it was SO. DAMN. GOOD.
Honestly, I wish I could pack this whole restaurant up and bring it home with me. If you’re in the Davenport area, do yourself a favor and make this your dinner stop. You’ll thank me later!

This was our first time eating at Cabos and we were not disappointed! We got the pleasure of being served by Jose himself and he talked us into ordering his special fajitas. I cannot say enough good things about how delicious and filling the fajitas were. Jose also brought out some homemade salsas and we loved them both! We ended up having to ask for a box because we were too full. Thank you to Jose and your lovely restaurant. Hopefully we get to eat here again in the future!

Jose and his staff were absolutely amazing! We had a party of 50 I know what you’re thinking 50 people what the…. Well I put a post out on a Facebook group need a place that can host a party of 50. Jose reached out to me personally let me know he and his staff can accommodate everything we needed for the group also he started sending photos of his specials and other non menu items. When we arrived he had everything set and has his staff assigned to each section of our group.some of the group ordered the “Jose Special” which is a massive fajita dinner that feeds supposedly 2 but more like 3 or 4 all of our meals were excellent and portions were huge. Jose and his staff also made mini beer shots for the group to do a celebratory toast since this was a luncheon for my wife and I small wedding and made mini snore shots for the kiddos. We would just like to say is thank you Jose and his staff went above and beyond and we are truly appreciative for everything you guys did on our special day.

Service: Everyone was pleasant and they were all smiling. We received our drinks along with chips and salsa right away. Our order was taken quickly and our food was out in a good amount of time. We didn’t have to ask for refills and our check was ready when we were without asking. Top notch.
Building: The place is pretty big.
Bathroom: The bathrooms were clean.
Parking: Plenty of free parking.
Notes: This place always gets us in.

Cabos Cantina and Grill 2 was far the best Mexican restaurant we visited. We were greeted outside the door, got seated right away, warm chips and salsa arrived in 5 seconds after just sitting down, got our drinks in less than 3 minutes, and food arrived just when we were ready to dig in. The waiter was hospitable, attentive, courteous and quick. And the food?? Way above our expectations! Plus we got free desserts shots – it was delicious!
We thought our waiter was great, so we gave him a 40% tip!
