I was a little disappointed in the banana split waffle that i had. It was a bit too busy the waffle was absolutely soggy by the time i got plate. Maybe a redesign on this dish would help. I will also want to point out that it was freezing inside, but it was very very cold out side.
Next time i would like to try some of the more normal breakfast selections and see how i like those.
I went there with a party of 13 and we were served almost 45 mins later all while watching others get their food before us. We were told we ordered specialty items. Mind you, we have been there several times before never having to wait for the same food that long. Even worse we seen countless orders come out with the same items we ordered for other tables. We counted 8 tables that we could see that were served before us and arrived after us.
When our food finally arrived it was either cold, burnt bacon, raw bacon and rubbery eggs.
Its was so horrible that the kitchen manager had no words and few apologies when looking at the table of food. She said she had no explanation and understandably wouldn’t eat the food either. The main floor manager avoided us and intentionally went into hiding as not to speak with us.
Our party remained calm, poised and patient only to be left hungry.
I will never eat at the Hermitage location again.
The restaurant was very clean. The food was great, the staff nice, great place to go out with family! There was a lot of choices for food and Drinks! The servers are very hospitable! The wait time was incredibly long but given it was Mother’s Day and also Sunday they are very popular on the weekends and they are always packed and busy because they present a good product in service. It was well worth the 45 to 60 minute wait for a table! The food came out piping, hot, and fresh bursting with savory down south home flavor! Very filling & their portion sizes are astronomically large, and the prices are fair! This place in the Shenango Valley is a hidden gem. I highly recommend you check them out!
Love this place. 5 stars barely does it justice.
