This restaurant is absolutely the worst! They only care about taking your money and don’t follow any instructions. I specifically wrote notes, but they ignored everything. The papri chaat I got was a complete joke—they just put some chana on papri and gave it to me. I have never had such a terrible papri chaat in my life. Totally unprofessional, careless, and disappointing. Also i ordered kheer that was totally expired.Never coming here again!

Food was good on flavor, but damn !! The oil / Ghee , was over kill , I want to know if the chef would eat that food he put out, take it easy on the oil or ghee and you all would be fine.

Food is not as good as before since new management. I used to love the food here..
the Peas pulao had more peas than rice. The Lamb Rogan Josh and butter chicken didn’t taste good. Also the lady who work there was so rude she asked me to go wait outside while the restaurant was empty and I was waiting for my order.

Ever since the new management began operating this restaurant, the food and service have improved so much. Now it’s a family-run business apparently, and the owner is the uncle that created India Cafe in Richmond and Floral Park previously. He sold both those establishments and said his only focus is now on Royal India Palace, and you can tell … the food is great.

I thought the food was pretty good. I normally don’t eat buffets cuz I don’t feel the quality is usually the same when you order a specific plate. But this was pretty good. And because it’s buffet the price was really good compared to how much you could get. Overall I would do it again.

I wanted to do a take out order by phone but was unable to get the ingredients in the dishes over the phone. Thank goodness I was staying in the hotel next door. Once I went in person, I was very happy with the detailed descriptions of the menu items and their ingredients. If you are vegetarian or vegan there are a few menu delicious options. Overall I was very satisfied with the food quality and I was able to do take out even though I did have to go in to make the order.

I got goat masala from this place today and holy when i say it was terrible, this was the worst goat masala i ever had. Big chunks of onion and tomato. The whole dish reeks of just garlic. It was inedible had to throw the whole thing out! Never gonna order from this place again.
