Food is OK but not authentic. The tostones we ordered seemed old (as in they had been fried once and stored, and refried to order). The place was empty when we went in, strange for a weekend night. Flavors were OK, just could tell they were not prepared by a Cuban cook.

I expect ropa vieja to be the best of the long simmer foods; spiced well, tender shredded meat, with a bit of heat, in a delicious sauce. Unfortunately, it was none of those things. The meat was actually fairly dry and it wasn’t shredded. I didn’t even finish my food. Plantains were decent, at least. It would have been a 3-star for me if it wasn’t for the price, which was north of $20 for mediocre Cuban hence the 2-star. And the prices weren’t even listed on the menu, so we didn’t know what we were in for until we paid.

Best Cuban food I’ve had in Colorado, hands down! The ropa vieja and yuca al mojo are top tier but everything we tried was phenomenal. They were very accommodating and excited to give us great food. Excellent experience!

So wonderful! Every dish has been amazing! The midnight sandwich is my fave, as well as pastelitos, chicken empanadas are amazing, (say yes to the spicy sauce,) and get a cafécito on the way out. The service is excellent. The kindest people. Go be happy there!

Wow! Best Cuban sandwich around. Ropa vieja was so amazing. Packed with flavor. I had the spicy sauce with it and I loved it. We had blackberry shake, strawberry shake and bread pudding as well. Everything was absolutely fantastic! We will be back!

I found this place through a friend and am forever grateful. The food is amazing, such a comfort food for me. This was such a special find. The service was great too. They are attentive. While their language is primarely Spanish, they are both sweet. Come for the food, you will not regret it. My 2 year old loved the sweet plantains and ham&cheese empanadas.

This place is unassuming from the outside but wow this place has the best authentic Cuban food I’ve had since Miami. Ropa Vieja was absolutely delicious. Fried Yucca and Papaya juice were amazing as well. Highly recommended if you like or Cuban food or want to try what it should taste like!

Wonderful spot! Service by the family that owns it is super friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. Hands down the best Cuban sandwich in the state. We were lucky enough to get the last serving of oxtails that were amazingly flavorful and fall-off-the-bone tender. (Daily specials will sell out.) Also tried the pork chunks that were crispy on the outside and juicy and tender in the middle. The sides are good enough to stand on their own. Gotta get the sweet plantains (caramelized on the outside), mixed black beans & rice and the yucca with mojo. All this left us wondering, why aren’t they more Cuban restaurants in Colorado?
