I got the cheese burger, chicken strips amd lava cake.
Cheese burger was massive. It was pretty tasty but i felt the patty was too thing which meant it was hard to taste the meat. It was very crunchy for a smash burger.
The chicken tenders were bog standard. I felt like these are standard frozen ones you buy in a pack.
The Lava Cake was really nice. Really enjoyed it.
The toilets were very clean.
The staff were very friendly.
Decent prices so definitelt worth a try. Seems like a very popular spot for locals.
We arrived one hour before closing time on a weekday, and the place was really quite and empty. It was not the most appealing start. However, the waiter promptly came to offer kindly the menus and offered himself to explain any doubt.
We decided on a beef smash but also a fried chicken burger, since you never know how good or not can be the beef.
Our burgers came out of the kitchen truly quick, and looked imponent: two towering buns with double smash and a huge fried chicken breast respectively. The burgers were accompanied by a decent portion of fries and sauce, so you don’t really need to order those additionally.
You could definitely taste the meaty flavour in the beef patties, which are so often flavourless. Maybe a slightly higher seasoning would make them better, but were pretty good already. For the chicken burger, apart from a maybe too fried finish, all are compliments: tender meat inside, crispy outside, and a marinated flavour. The sauce was also on point. This chicken one is worth to come back. The cheese was flavourful in both burgers and the bread fresh and fluffy.
We finished around 15 minutes after the closing time, but the service never rushed us. That is something we cannot thank them enough for.
All in all, a place that I am happy to recommend, thanks to the lovely service, generous portions, and solid burgers.
