I go to this location frequently. I’ve only ever had a less than par experience in the evenings. Whenever I go at lunch time the employees are always great and the pizza is always amazing. Service is always fast.
Not today. Granted, it was the busiest I’ve seen it here on a lunch weekday in a long time, that’s no excuse for the poor communication and very long wait times. I also used a free reward, so luckily I didn’t have to pay anything today.
I put an order in using the App. It gave me a ready time of 20 minutes after I placed the order. I got to the store 8 minutes after my ready time. There was 2 cars in front of me at the drive up window and one waiting in the Pick Up Spots. It was a couple minutes before the car at the window was helped and left. The car in front of me waited at the window for 10 minutes before she was helped. She then had to pull in to the other Pick Up spot. The worker was waiting for me at the window, she asked my name and what I ordered. Then closed the window and walked away. I proceeded to wait for 5-6 more minutes, she never came back. The car that was sitting in the Pick Up spot when I arrived was still there. The car that was in front of me was still waiting also. It was my lunch time, so I had to get back to work. No one came back to the window at all to update me on my order. When she first asked for my name and what I ordered, not once did she say it will be a few minutes, or anything else. Like every other time I’ve been there, and the fact that I had placed my order more than 40 minutes prior, I assumed she was going to get my pizza. But it doesn’t take 5-6 minutes to get an already made pizza or to check on the status of an order (neither of which she said she was doing).
From the time I pulled into the line at the window to the time I left it was almost 30 minutes I waited. And I know the people in front of me were waiting longer since they were still there when I left.

I understand being busy and being behind, being short staffed or whatever the reason may be, but not letting your drive up customers know what is going on is disrespectful and bad business practices. Usually at lunch time the people in the drive through are picking up with the intent of having to go back to work. If they are eating in, I would assume you typically have more time.
It would be appreciated. If this happens again in the future, if there would be communication at the window if my order isn’t ready when it says it will be. Again, I understand if you are busy. But if she would have told me at the window that “hey we’re really busy right now. It will be a little while before your order is ready (give customer an estimated time limit)” would go along way. If i would have known at the window that my order wasn’t ready and been told an estimated ready time, I would have told her to cancel it. Instead I couldn’t tell her that and so I’m sure my order was made, which I apologize for, but in this instant is not my fault.
I’ve been here when my order hasn’t been ready before and I’ve always been told it will be a few minutes, etc. When it’s this busy and the wait times are that long you need to make sure your employees are able to communicate this to the customers. It will save you a lot of trouble making food that people can’t wait for, or make customers angry about.

Super disappointed in this location today.

The manager waited on us. No personality. Not nice or friendly. I asked for coffee and he said I discontinued that. What happened to good ol customer service. Pizza Hut especially dodgeville used to be the best!! Not anymore!! And I will add, we were the only table in the whole place.

Went on a Sunday around 10:40am. Waited ten minutes for someone to acknowledge and seat us. We were the only customers. Ordered breadsticks and a personal pan pizza. Breadsticks came but no pizza after 25-30 mins. No one checked on us. Asked to pay the bill, left without the pizza. Workers seem unhappy. This place sucks.

I almost hate to post this because I fear no one will believe this. We just have to laugh at this experience. Our waitress was wasted! Literally! She gave us 1 glass of water between the 2 of us. We had to go up to the cash register to get a menu. We ordered the salad bar and 2 personal pan pizzas. The salad bar was so cold that the food on the insides of the containers were frozen on the sides. We ate our salads and waited because we did not see any staff. About 1/2 hour later our waitress showed up and asked it she had taken our order yet and did we order any other food. We said yes, she looked confused and said “oh.” She turned and went to the kitchen and brought back our pizzas. We had to go to the checkout to ask for a couple of knives. She handed my partner 3 and asked it that was enough. He told her we only needed 2. She asked if he was sure. I had leftover pizza and wanted a To go box. 2 slices from a personal pan pizza. My partner went up to get a small box, she gave him a regular size pizza box. We had to tell her. ( after her and the other employees came out of the bathroom from an extended visit in there) that we needed our check so we could leave. She had not put our salad bars on the check and we told her so. Again she looked co fused and said “oh”. At one point during our meal she did ask if we were missing anything. We said we needed another water please. She looked confused and said ” oh.”and brought us another water. We had to find her to pay. We told her that our 2 salad bars still were not on the bill. She said ” oh”. She rang us up and still did not put the salad bars on the bill. We tried to explain it to her again. She looked so confused. We went ahead and added a tip large enough to conver the salad bars. But looking back I’m thinking the tip went to her vs the store. We tried. With the pizza box in our hands she then asked us if we needed any boxes for leftover pizza. We held up the box to show her we already had one that she herself had handed to us. She looked confused and said “oh.” At least she had used breath mints and perfume after she spent a long extended bathroom break. We are choosing to laugh at the visit. We do feel bad for the 2 employees who felt they needed to get high at work.

I visited to have a late lunch there. I was the only customer dining at 2pm. I ordered a super supreme thin crust regular pizza and creamy chicken pasta. They were delicious and hot. Love them. The freshly baked bread sticks came after…I personally don’t like it, but my friend liked them…it tasted like baked garlic bread. Refilled drinks were available. One of the best choices there in Dodgeville.

I called to order a pizza and the nicest, kindest person answered the phone! I believe their name was Dalton, and informed us that they offer delivery now. This was a super pleasant person to speak with and their kindness did not go unnoticed! Thank you!!

I came here with family and overheard what we assume is the manager/boss talking about alcohol to one of the young workers. They were discussing about what beer they like which I think is a very strange conversation to be having with Someone who is obviously a child.

The pizza was oily and distasteful. The woman barely came to serve us. I requested mushrooms on the side because other people I’m sharing the food with are allergic to them, and I heard almost all if not all the workers in the back talking about it in a very rude manner. They ended up making fun of me because of that but anyway, the girl was polite in a sense, she was also kind but a little hard of hearing or she was annoyed either one is fine with me. Overall everything was messed up, mostly food and service. If you want really good greasy/oily food this is the place for you ‍♀️

Actual sit down and order pizza, and salad bar. Just like when I was a little kid. I love these pizza huts, they have all seemed to disappear to carry out only now. But this dodgeville location was great! Thank you
