Absolutely one of my favorite spots in Melbourne hands down! I eat here at least twice a week, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, or a midday treat, every dish is made with care. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the vibe is perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. If you haven’t been to La Crepe de France yet, you’re seriously missing out. From the sweet to the savory options, you can’t go wrong. This place is a gem and a must-visit in Downtown Melbourne!

Crepes were amazing. I love eggs Benedict and figured I’d give the crepe a try. It was better than any Benedict I’ve had! One of my daughters ate her entire s’mores crepe (the other doesn’t like Nutella, which we learned there…and there was a lot of filling). The fruit sauce that comes with the French toast was very good. I ordered a side of truffle fries, they were tasty but not hot. Very nice serving staff. We are outside and it was quiet.

We were really excited to try La Crêpe while visiting Melbourne, as we’re not from the area and had heard good things. Unfortunately, our experience was so disappointing that we ended up walking out.
When we arrived, it took about 5–10 minutes just to receive water. My mother ordered a coffee, finished it within a few minutes, and it was never offered to be refilled—same with our waters. Our server never checked on us a single time during the entire visit.
After waiting over an hour for our food, my mother went inside to politely ask how much longer it would be. The server did not respond to her at all. Throughout the visit, anytime we asked for anything, the server seemed extremely bothered and dismissive.
We waited approximately an hour and ten minutes total without food, communication, or any acknowledgment, which ultimately led us to leave. We truly wanted to enjoy this place, but the lack of service and basic attentiveness completely ruined the experience.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was not good at all, but we decided to give it another try and I’m glad we did. We had the French toast with walnuts, almonds, and bananas and strawberry banana Nutella crêpes. Both were excellent. The service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Quaint atmosphere, just a bit noisy. We sat inside because of the humidity and ordered the Ham Benedict and the Florentine Crepe. The crepes were light and surprisingly flavorful. The white flour crepe was actually sweet. I was expecting a Benedict but this was fine. The eggs were cooked wonderfully and the vegetables were fresh. Luckily, we beat the crowd, but when it got full, it was very noisy. You should try to go off-peak hours. We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We had cappuccinos and lattes that were delicious! We also very much enjoyed our La Florentine crepe, French toast and the La Nutty Banana Crepe. I loved that I could watch the crepes being made through a large picture window into the kitchen. Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was nice with indoor & patio seating. Very nice!! Highly recommend!

This was a quaint little crepe restaurant for breakfast. There was plenty of food to fill you up and it was tasty. The staff was limited so it took a bit longer for service than expected but they were really professional and fun to interact with.

It’s a very cozy place where you can enjoy fresh food for breakfast or lunch. When the weather is nice, outdoor seating is so enjoyable, but not so much in the summer. They have divers menus of crepes both sweet and with omelette. Although I’ve always liked their food and drinks, their service has been just ok and sometimes they don’t pay much attention to your requests.
