Great place. We ordered the crispy sweet sour pork, Hunan style fried beef and lotus root pork soup. Food tasted good and authentic. The crispy sweet sour pork is a must try if you like sweet foods.

Brought my friend who is from NorthEastern part of China to try the Cast Iron Hot Pot with Cornbread Potstickers （铁锅炖贴玉米饼）. My friend said it was pretty authentic. I liked the cast iron pot, you would need to contact the owner and reserve a day in advance so they can prepare it. The pork ribs were stewed for an hour before we arrived and the bones came right off. It was a bit salty near the end then we realized we could have asked to add some water into the pot. The pot was a fun experience for me. I didn’t like their dumplings as much. The price was a bit high but the portion is big enough for 5-6 servings so it evens out?

This is an authentic Chinese restaurant. Some dishes are impressive, while others are mediocre. They recently upgraded their menu with large iron hotpot entrees. It was required to make an appointment for those. Recommend their braised pork and chicken feet, dumplings, and lamb entrees. Sometimes they might put too much salt or overcook. Service is always good and WiFi is fast. Rice is unlimited.

Food was great if you love spicy Hunan style. They have only one waitress to help out the whole restaurant, overall service is good but she can be busy all the time! Restaurant is clean but small. You have to make a reservation if you have a large group of people.

2.9 stars doesn’t give them justice. The employees were very nice, it’s a cute little restaurant. Food was good, could’ve used a few vegetables in the fried rice, a little pricey, but I’d eat here again.

This is one of the hiding gem, the best lamb place in the United State. They are from Northern China and specialize in lamb but most ppl don’t know that. You would have to call them a day in advance to prepare “The Good Stuff” because that’s how much time they need to make that for you. Didn’t try other “Chinese food” so can speak outside of the lambs… They should rename it the Amazing Lamb.

This restaurant deserves a better rating. They serve pretty authentic northern Chinese food. My favorite is braised pork bone (酱骨架) which paired well with beer. But it’s on Chinese menu only on Chowbus not on English menu from its website so it’s hard to recommend this dish to my American friends who don’t speak mandarin. (Maybe I missed it when I checked the menu).

Agree with others, definitely deserves a much higher rating. Authentic Chinese. 东北 food is great. 酱排骨 is good and 锅包肉to be honest is one of the best I’ve had at any restaurant.
