Definitely a take-out spot and that’s just fine. Do not go here if you are looking for a sit down dinner and do not leave a bad review because you didn’t do your homework on the place and you were expecting to sit. They are a well-oiled machine at what they do. The ladies at the counter are just as authentic as the food itself. I believe other location in Wexford does have sit down options but I’ve never been up that way.
This is honestly a tremendous place if you are staying near the airport from out of town and want to try something regionally tied to Pittsburgh. This is a city/region that knows Polish food well and this is a great representation of that.
Service is quick and there are plenty of options. I am a big fan of their stuffed cabbage. The pierogies are my favorite in a region that loves pierogies. I’ve tried a few places but this place has the best dough/potato softness gradient, and if you order with butter/onions I believe you get the appropriate amount (not quite drowned). I don’t see a lot of places that do pepperoni and cheese pierogies – I like to mix in a few of theirs from time to time.
Honestly, how I use this place the most is to buy a large order of pierogies to take to a family holiday dinner. Many times I have pretended I made them to the great astonishment of the attendees. They are always a smashing success.

Perfect pierogies! The goulash (#15), stuffed cabbage, sauerkraut, and noodles with cabbage were delicious, perfectly seasoned. Excellent and friendly service. Thank you!

I have not been since last summer. Such a disappointment-all cold except the kielbasa that was burnt and dried out! Don’t waste your money

This is take out only, but that’s ok cause the food and staff is great. Worth the stop if you are craving some good eastern European food. They do have pierogies hot or frozen to take home for another day as well as over a dozen meals ready to go.

First time there, the ladies were very nice. And the pierogies were delicious a little expensive. But the pierogies are homemade and they are huge. Will definitely return again.

Absolutely the best!! Pierogies are so soft, delicious, and perfection. The haluski is so delicious, polish kielbasa is amazing. We have been looking for fresh pierogies since moving to Pittsburgh area a year ago.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly delicious, but I wouldn’t recommend dining in. It’s best suited for takeout. I was on my way to the airport and was excited to eat some European food, especially my favorite borscht soup, but it was only available for takeout. I ended up eating outside at a small, uncomfortable table, and it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to bugs and noise from passing cars.

Forgotten Taste Pierogies restaurant sells pierogies in many savory and sweet flavors as well as stuffed cabbage, stuffed pepper, kielbasa, haluski, goulash, borsch, sides, desserts, etcetera. Only a small amount of seating is available, so takeout might be easiest. Two employees politely served me. I enjoyed my potato-cheese pierogies, kielbasa, haluski, stuffed pepper, and stuffed cabbage.

I love pierogies and go on the hunt for them while traveling. I was able to get not only pierogi but a cabbage roll and haluski, too. Their potato and cheese pierogi are simply the best. Great tiramisu, too. Wish I didn’t live across the country…I’d eat here every day!

Great friendly service and delicious pierogies! Saurkraut pierogies rock! Tried the pulled pork ones as well and weren’t to bad. Can’t go wrong with the blueberry pierogies either.
