Went that for the first time for an early dinner 5:30 on a Friday. We were the only ones there but with how good the bahn mi’s were I don’t see how. The best tofu bahn mi I’ve had anywhere in Houston. The bread was warm and soft, big and plenty of fried tofu in there, fresh veggies and the sauce the put in there is so good. The service was amazing as well. We will definitely come back. Our new go to for sure!

We also for got the Vietnamese coffee which was perfect!

I am leaving this review in hopes the owner will read this. My first time here and I do not think I will return. The food was okay, the lady serving us was nice but the restaurant is very very dirty and it makes me wonder if you allow the front area, where guests are sitting, too look so dirty, how does the kitchen look? There were expired sauces on our table, the salt and peppers were covered in sauce and grime, crumbs and dust everywhere in eye shot of where you are about to eat. I wanted to leave but my husband is more polite and we stayed to eat. He ate all of his. I barely touched it. You need to clean this restaurant. It is very disgusting and unappetizing.

An authentic pho near 249 and louatta rd. The waiter is friendly and food is delicious. However, they charge 3% for credit card or debit card.

If you go here and expect and sit-down for TikTok Instagram, it’s not the place. It’s great option for simple and affordable authentic meals. These nice hard working simple folks have consistently prepared the Vietnamese staples – Pho (noodle soup), Banh Mi (sandwiches), rice vermicelli dishes (Bun), and Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls)- with balance in flavor and light in salt, fresh herbs and vegetables.

Kim’s Pho & Grill on Louetta is, without question, one of the most uncouth dining experiences I’ve ever encountered. The moment I walked in, there was a foul odor lingering in the air — never a good sign when you’re about to eat. The woman helping me was incredibly rude and dishonest. She tried to justify a 3% surcharge on my debit card with a made-up excuse, then tried to force me into paying with Cash App or Zelle just to avoid it. Completely unprofessional and shady.

To make matters worse, she attempted to sneak extra charges onto my bill. When I confronted her, she blamed the “computer,” even though she was clearly the one operating it. At that point, I canceled my order entirely — there was no way I was giving them another dollar.

This wasn’t even my first disappointment with this place. The last time I ate there, the pho was anything but authentic, flat and flavorless. The egg rolls were terrible. The bánh mì tasted like it was made with stale bread and low-quality meat. Nothing was fresh.

And honestly, someone needs to call a health inspector. If the dining area and tables are already filthy, I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like.

I won’t be coming back — ever.

I hate hate hate doing this because I love supporting small businesses, but this is like the 5th review of people having roaches / bugs in their food ! Like at some point it’s not a bug problem, it’s a cleanliness problem

I’m not going to try to spell these menu items, but they are both listed as the most popular under buns and soup on the menu.

We arrived at the restaurant at around 1 and ordered some tea and and milk tea. The milk tea was no too sweet, so it was pleasant and drinkable. That was a big worry of ours.

I got the dry noodle dish, it came with a side of carrot and fish sauce to pour on it. The flavor was amazing. The noodles were cooked well and it has just enough peanut to add to the flavor without taking away from anything else or being over bearing.

The soup though was out of this world. My friend ordered they spicy soup and said “make it hella spicy” and they asked if he was sure. Yes! So they added a lot more chili oil to the sauce. It was not really spicy though. There was a nice initial tingle, but it did not linger like other spices. The flavor was outstanding. I will definitely be back to get it next time.

The only complaint was that we were sitting and having a good time at the end of the meal when the owners(?) came up and boxed our leftover food. That was really nice of them, but they kept coming over every few minutes to push us out the door. I said that I didn’t want a bag for my food since I hate wasting the plastic. And he comes back 10 minutes after boxing our food. He put mine in a bag handed it back and said “thanks for stopping by!” Ok message received that we are not welcome to stay and chat. We left then. That was the only slight negative. We will be back though.

I ordered P1 which is combination pho. Should included tripe but I didn’t see any. The flavor of the broth was pretty good. The portion was good too. I came in when they have two large groups of people there. There is only one waitress. And I waited about 20 mins to get my pho. The waitress was very nice.

I’ve been ordering pickup from this place a couple times a week for the past month or so, and it’s always fast and delicious. Convenient drive thru pickup option for online orders (just watch out if someone is in front of you and placing an order – that can block you for a while and it might be faster to walk in). The sandwiches are delicious, and the Vietnamese coffee really kicks like a mule! The portions on the fried rice entrees are HUGE. Avocado smoothie is also excellent, but ask for a large straw because they sometimes give you a small one that will not work at all.
