We have been going here for years and every time we go, the food is great!!! The fish is cooked fresh and the setting is always fun. This time we can add great medical assistance when my mom had an emergency. Stacy and staff rushed to help us in any manner possible. They provided an open space, necessary materials, and on going support through a scary situation. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. Will definitely be coming back again.

This was our first visit. Everything was good! The salad/condiments area was well stocked and fresh. All of the hot food was also well stocked, hot & fresh. Everything I had was delicious! I don’t usually like fried catfish but tried a piece anyway. I was surprised at how good it was. The price was good and people were very nice! We will be back again!

If laughter burned calories, I’d have dropped five pounds before dessert. Stacey’s Fish Fry is the kind of place where the fryer oil’s been seasoned by generations of good decisions. The peel-and-eat shrimp were so good I nearly peeled my fingertips by accident—worth it.
The hushpuppies? Heavenly. The catfish? Crispy perfection with just enough grease to make your cardiologist sigh. The crowd was friendlier than a church potluck, and everyone seemed to be having a fishin’ good time.

Unbelievable food! This place goes down in the books as the very best fried fish anywhere around! Just writing this review makes my mouth water. It’s in the middle of nowhere, but absolutely worth the drive. Wonderful, hardworking people. I put it in the top 10 best restaurants in Texas! Seriously.

Yesterday was my first time to visit, and will definitely not be the last. The whole experience was great. The simplicity of it is also nice. One might not think there’s a lot of food put out, but I liked the thought of that because it means the food is rotated often. The ladies were steadily keeping items stocked, wiping down surfaces and taking trash from tables. A very hard working crew keeping this place running well.

Can’t get a better fish fry place than this. Prices current as of 5/2017 range from $3, $7, $9 for kids to $17 for adults and $14 for seniors. This includes tea.
No frills. Full salad bar. Good jalapeno hush puppies, corn nuggets, okra, soft home style fries. Homemade tarter, shrimp sauce: good bite. Desserts too.
But the highlight for me was the peel-n-eat shrimp and their catfish. That catfish though!
