Came here for my birthday dinner on a late Sunday, we were only a party of 4 but I’d recommend a reservation since the place is on the small side. You can risk parking on the main road, but there are parking lots nearby that are much more convenient. The speakeasy style vibe is very cool and the open bar/kitchen is fun to watch the guys behind it work their magic. Staff were friendly and very helpful, but my one qualm was that our server opted to try and just remember our order by heart rather than writing it down, everything came out right, but he did have to confirm with us that he had the order right.
Starting with cocktails, which I think is where this place really shines, I got the pistachio martini and their signature old fashioned. On top of just how pretty the drinks are, they match it with the quality. The old fashioned is one of the better ones I’ve had and was my favorite of the two, but I’m not sure you can go wrong with any choice on their list!
Then for food, we started with the blackened scallops and the pork belly empanadas. Both were tasty but the empanadas were my personal favorite of the two. The scallops felt a little over seasoned, but obviously not to the point of being inedible. For mains, I got the lamb meatballs, and I tried a bit of my girlfriend’s steak sandwich. The meatballs and sauce were just as good as any Italian place I’ve been to and perfect serving size. The steak sandwich though was served on THE softest ciabatta I’ve ever tasted but still held together well and made for an excellent, albeit huge, sandwich. I think she beat me out by just a hair on this one. I had really wanted to get their grilled cheese and tomato soup, but they had just run out, but I think they were just coming up with an elaborate ruse to get me to come back! Well, it’s working, because I will absolutely comeback for more cocktails and that grilled cheese!
We sat at the very last table in the restaurant, and this raises my only other concern, when the kitchen doors would swing open, you would get a quick smell of that garbage kind of smell which was a little off putting, but it wasn’t constant enough where we were bothered to be asked to move our table, but food for thought. Surfing up just a few small things could easily have this place up to 5 stars from 4.

Very elegant. Amazing food, drinks, service and ambiance! Perfect date night location! Open kitchen was fun too, watching the chef create artistic plates. Recommend reservations. We got in early but half hour later place was full. Posted photos separate, cant figure out how to attach to review!

Go look for The Green Door people! It’s a great restaurant with awesome food, great atmosphere, wonderful service. The portion sizes were great and oh sooooo good, and yummy! You can see the food being prepared; chef Michael is Amazing!
There’s ample 4 hr parking, put The Green Door in your gps, take a drive to Lindenhurst- enjoy good drinks, good food with your friends. It is worth the experience.

I cannot wait to go back. The ambience, service and food was outstanding. The espresso martini ON TAP??- the perfect blend for an espresso martini ever. The food is outrageous, so flavorful. Get the bone marrow French fries, you won’t regret it. The chef cooks everything in front of you and you watch as the bone marrow juices drip onto the french fries under the heat lamp with the low lighting ambiance and music. Highly recommend this place. The simple syrups are homemade which is awesome. Friday nights from 3-7 are teacher happy hours. Mondays are industry night and you get 10% off if you work in the food service industry. They have nights of live music which I can’t wait to come back and enjoy. I am obsessed with what they turned this space into. Go check it out☺️

Had such a great night here! We grabbed a few cocktails and every single one was amazing! super creative and just hit the spot.
Tried a few dishes too, and wow… the eggplant stack was full of flavor, the hummus with plantains was such a unique combo (definitely one of the best we’ve ever had), and the bone marrow fries… unreal. Like, addicting good, couldn’t stop eating them!
Great vibes, great food, and awesome service. We’ll 100% be back!
