The food quality is very good. Had the hyd street style fried rice and noodles which is hard to find anywhere in Austin. Ambience and price were decent. Only gripe is that it is not clean. Hope they maintain it well going forward.

I ordered double egg noodles , it was same like Indian noodles , loved it . People are mentioning about the time. I think we need to understand that it is not a fast food chain to expect in 5 minutes . It is a food truck with a certain capacity. It will take some time for good Indian food which is made then and there.
I would recommend trying the noodles and will come back to try more .

I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience with my recent order. I found a metal screw inside the noodles, which is completely unacceptable and extremely dangerous. This shows a serious lack of quality control and hygiene in the kitchen. I’ve lost trust in ordering from here again — please take this matter seriously

Good food! We loved the chat and indian street style noodles. The lawn is still being prepared so hope the ambience gets better. Place is supposed be kid friendly with a small play area but I see a few people smoking right around the tables which felt very uncomfortable with our kids around. My suggestion would be to have a designated smoking zone or if not the place will loose families with kids.

The worst food I had so far. I ordered for paneer kati roll and chicken frankie. These are very far from how frankie and kati rolls taste. I waited one hour to get these. They wrapped a hard fried chicken inside a tortilla without any sauce.

Nice little food truck. Menu has variety for both vegetarian and non vegetarian options with momos and Frankie as well apart from biriyani, chaat and tiffin items. Food was tasty, price was decent. Ample outdoor space to sit and enjoy weather permitting. Have some games to kill wait time.

Ambience and place is good but the service is poor. They are struggling to get the orders fulfilled, served not as first in first out and very unprofessional in addressing customer concerns which we saw few more people were raising around the same time. Food is awful we tried few items like Momos and Chat items, which are very badly prepared. It’s better they don’t try the items which they are not capable enough to make it authentic and correctly .

Papdi chat…
Orderd papadi chat.. It was really sad to see the way it was done.. Crushed papdi loaded with curds and topped with sev.. It was soo soggy and waste of money.. Had to trash it out.. Shall never be back..extremely disappointed.. Why prepare a chat if you don’t know to prepare it..ruining it.. Wasting customer’s money and time to get the beautiful order ..

I visited this place recently and was pleased with the overall ambiance – it was cozy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and took my order even 20 minutes before closing, which I appreciated. I tried the Paneer Frankie, which seemed more like a burrito to me. Unfortunately, I found it to be overly salty and lacking in flavor, essentially just a tortilla with paneer and chipotle sauce. No flavors and Nothing in it.
While I understand that this is a newer business still working on perfecting its offerings, I feel the Frankie could use significant improvement. For the price, I’d have preferred a larger, fresher burrito from a chain like Taco Bell.
Overall, I’m hopeful they’ll continue to improve their menu as they grow, but my experience with the Frankie was really disappointing. I wish them the best of luck moving forward.

I recently visited Dosti Bandi and had an amazing experience! I tried the Chicken Noodles, Mirchi, and Chicken 65 — and every dish was bursting with flavor.
The Chicken Noodles were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spice and a delicious smoky touch. The Mirchi had a great crunch and spice level that paired so well with the meal. And the Chicken 65? Absolutely outstanding — juicy, crispy, and packed with authentic South Indian flavors.
Also, the outside truck area is amazing — it has a lively vibe, is super clean, and adds to the overall street food experience.
If you’re craving some real, flavorful street-style Indian food, Dosti Bandi is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!
