Beffa’s is a family restaurant that has been in STL for 127 years. I lived within the city limits of STL for 40 years and our paths never crossed. I’ve been a IL resident for 4 years and made a road trip to enjoy their Happy Hour with a BFF and it was totally worth the 40 minute drive.
What makes Beffa’s Happy Hour extra special is not only available Tuesday thru Friday 4PM-7PM, but it is also celebrated on Saturday 6PM-8PM. You gotta love a bar that has a HH on the weekend. The pricing on beer, craft cocktails and food are all budget friendly.
The cocktails we enjoyed were masterfully made and we experienced two different bartenders. Our visit took place during the shift change from day to night staff. Both were attentive and super friendly.
The food menu for HH is limited, but a good variety. We sampled, Boneless Wings with Hot Honey, Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Reuben Bites. Our first bartender recommended the Reuben Bites, she said it was her favorite. After having them myself, I am in total agreement with her.
Big plus for drinking and dining here is, they have their own private parking lot behind the building. It is close enough to Energizer Park to make it a great place to stop before or after a ST Louis City SC game.
The atmosphere/ambiance is definitely vintage. There is a good historical feel and it feels welcoming.

I’m a fan of all things Beffa’s. Their happy hour is one the best in the city. Affordable, straightforward, good apps & even available Saturday nights!! It feels good to support a longstanding St. Louis city family tradition. Good location, & is walkable to other neighborhood standouts (Blue Jay Brewing! Videira Wine Bar! Scout’s, Energizer Stadium, RIP Harvey’s). Staff is great, I haven’t met a bartender or waitstaff that wasn’t friendly & accommodating. I just wish they were open Sundays so I could watch the Bears here sometimes!
TL;DR: it’s a solid spot with a great happy hour walkable to a lot of my faves. Try the Bef-Fil-A!

Beffa’s in STL never disappoints! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the service was top-tier from start to finish. A huge shout-out to David was incredible! Super friendly, attentive, and really made the whole experience stand out. You can tell they care about creating a great vibe and making sure everyone feels taken care of.
If you’re in St. Louis and want a spot with great food, great drinks, and even better people, Beffa’s is the place. I’ll definitely be back!

Impressive this place has been in business well over a century! We came on a quiet Saturday afternoon, but hear it’s quite the place to be for soccer games. Unassuming from the road, but nice inside. Good food and free drinks with PubPass Kids had fun playing darts. The fries-lovers said “excellent fries”.

The burgers and beer are always solid here. My husband and I have come several times – by ourselves and with the kids – and have always enjoyed it. My husband also likes the atmosphere, relating it to an old pub with soccer vibes. We recommend!

Had a great time here while visiting St. Louis for a concert. The staff was super friendly and gave us recommendations on different places around St. Louis to try while we were visiting. We loved the toasted ravioli and the boneless wings. The local draft beers were delicious.

We enjoyed out brunch at Beffa’s on a Sunday the place has a decent crowd. There was not a wait for a party of two but we did see larger parties waiting. Even with a staff shortage everything came out quickly. The mimosas were so good and had great flavor options. The chicken sandwich was amazing full of flavor with a great sauce. The chicken and waffle was also good! Great location and parking
