If you get near the courthouse square in Dyersburg, give Merry Castle a shot! Make no mistake about thinking “health food” is on the menu. This is straight-up “the good stuff”! Great service and spot-on prices too. If you aren’t taking your order home/back to work, be mindful that there is no indoor seating. This is a burger stand. There are, however, a couple of gazebo covered ~dine in~ areas if the weather is good. Merry Castle has been around forever for a reason; it just plain works. FYI: CASH ONLY! There’s an ATM across the street though.

This is a great little place! I recommend the Captain’s Burger, but the regular burgers are also good. The fries are fantastic, and don’t leave without one of the mini pecan pies.
