Stopped by today as I was out in the area and bbq sounded good. The staff was great and made sure I had everything I needed in my life togo bag. Got home and have to stay was a little disappointed as the meat has 0 flavor, was hoping for that good smoke flavor. Was a little worried when I saw the brisket was very greasy. Once I added their bbq sauce it was better but was really hoping for better flavor. While the meats were blah the sides were very good. Might be some of the best coleslaw I had and the fries were seasoned. I also got some hush puppies which were really good. I would definitely give them another shot as it might have been an off day

We have been eating here for years and it keeps getting better. Love stopping in for a bite with the kids. Great environment and even better food. I recommend the White barbecue sauce, hushpuppies, rib bones and the Chindripper. Must try if you have not already!

I’ve been coming to Jimmy’s Backyard BBQ for a while now because their ribs are consistently the best around — juicy, smoky, fall-off-the-bone perfection every single time. But today really reminded me why I love this place beyond just the food.
The man working today went above and beyond — I was next door doing laundry, and he actually brought my order over to me without me even asking. It was such a kind gesture, especially because I was having a pretty rough day. That little bit of thoughtfulness honestly made my whole afternoon better.
The food is always amazing, but the kindness and genuine care here are what truly set this place apart. So grateful for good people and good BBQ ❤️

Love this place! Best BBQ in the State. We’ve been catering from here for years and what you might not know is you can “send” catering to a person or company. I recently sent Jimmy’s lunch to our dentist office in Cuyahoga Falls, and Judy made it perfect!

First time trying out Jimmy’s and we ordered pretty much the menu to try a bit of it all. Best corn bread, potato salad and garlic white sauce on chicken wings. Everything else was good too but those stood out the most. The dirty Mac is a fan favorite we were told and our teens enjoyed that. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. Brisket is shredded to remain moist. I definitely will be having them cater parties in the future.

My first experience here was catering for 10 people and it was just fantastic and I will be ordering again and again. We ordered 50 smoked wings, brisket, pork, Mac and cheese, smoked sausage, green beans and corn bread. The wings were huge (!) tender, and perfect as the go to snack. The brisket and pork were smoky, tender and delicious. The sausage was really good if you like Italian style sausage smoked (I personally prefer kielbasa smoked), the Mac and cheese uses spiral noodles which i thought was a great differentiator and made the texture great. The corn bread was tender and sweeter. All very good. Had delivered to my house. The staff were friendly, helpful, and on time.

I got the Pit Master which had a variety of meats, sides, and cornbread. Everything was SO GOOD! I can’t remember the sauce names but we got a few and my two favorite were the gold (maybe honey mustard/BBQ combo?) and this white sauce they had.
Since it was my first time they made sure to answer any questions I had and made my experience great. Top notch customer service and great food + local? Definitely worth a try!

Solid BBQ. I do prefer my brisket in sliced slabs and dryer in texture. The sides were good, and good portions. The ribs had a great sauce to them. The sausage was more like an Italian sausage then a BBQ hot/smoke link. Not bad over all, just not my style.
