Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Food was good and hot. Nothing special but good. This was my very first and last time eating at a Runza, due to the charges for the food. See receipt. I ordered a cheese burger combo and a single cheese burger. I was charged for each item separately and was charged 2 bucks for ordering a meal, WTH !!?? Never again, unbelievable the gread people have in today’s world. If you’re going to sale a combo then sale a combo don’t advertise it then make each item separately. You could have had the next best restaurant around.

I went thru the drive thru. I ordered the Wisconsin cheese soup and a cheeseburger with extra pickles. Everything went smoothly, and the food was good. I did think that there was going to be another choice of the soup available, but there wasn’t. I was happily surprised that the cheese soup tasted good. I enjoyed it. The cheeseburger was good also. I ordered a Swiss mushroom burger, sm frings and onion ring dip, and small chocolate shake. I do not eat out much I went ahead and splurged almost $14. I got a double hamburger which was to big for me. I made it into a combo and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. You had a choice of different sides, like onion rings, sweet potatoes and more.
